I think you guys are often confusing production (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Record_producer) with the audio engineering (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audio_engineer as in recording techniques and sound) of the album, to be honest...
Mike Clink's production values on Appetite are pretty clear if you listen to any of the boots up to the recording sessions. Songs before him were often slower, some bridges and verses were emptier or longer and had no "push". If you listen to the UYI demos and then to the final recordings, you can also notice this.
Fair to say he didn't change the direction of the songs that much in AFD, he basically steered them to a cohesive unit and was smart enough to not interfere too much on the creative process, since most of the album was already there.

Does anyone have it to download?
I had it on VHS back in the day, even sent some tapes over to Dust N'Bones members but on YouTube I only seem to find Multishow source.
Directv transmission didn't have any graphics placed on the screen and didn't have a presenter, it was a great copy.
Would love to download a clean version of that source.

This has been proven to NOT be GNR. It's just a name coincidence. It's from a Uni database of scores available to be used.
I guess that on other forums they even have figured out the composers names.

Caught this at GNRTruth but don't know the original source on the forums.
Axl trademarked the name "Stay of Execution" by the end of the last Vegas residency, in June last year.

Speculations are about a new band, a new album or even a new name for a residency/tour.
What do you guys think it might be?

And I mean about Slash playing with him not the sexual abuse nonsense.

On the VMA's in 92, could the "This has nothing to do with Michael Jackson" comment from Axl's be a jab at Slash then?
Always thought it was just a jab at the award name, but coming from Axl we'll never know...

You can blame that on Axl again, and Chris Pittman to some extent.
On the liner notes of CD you'll find that Pittman added LOTS of sub-bass, a resource popular in dance (house) music to highlight synthesizers and kick drums.
THAT'S WHAT RUINED THE BASS ON CD.

The extra guitar parts are not Bumble's fault, by any means.
He already described the process, where he'd go to the studio and write and improvise over songs, Axl would record it, analyze it and use it to his pleasings. Axl was the final producer of the album and is ultimately responsible for the overblown guitars. Instead of adding, Axl should've replaced guitars. Instead, he left it all there, making it the clusterfuck it actually became (although in some moments it does really work pretty well).

Well, there you have it...

Guitarist Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal has revealed on Facebook why he cannot discuss his ambiguous status (and heavily rumored departure) from Guns N’ Roses, GNRTruth reports. Bumblefoot responded to a Facebook post, “I cannot erase a decade of history, and I can’t stop the media from asking what they want to ask and making up their own titles on their interviews and posts. No matter how much I asked them not to do it. Get a fucking clue.”
He added, “PS – I’ve been honoring a request to not make any public statements about anything related to it, which continues to put me in a very awkward position that I don’t want to be in. Not how I do things, repeatedly taking the bullet on this one. So stop your whining already.”
On Thal’s LinkedIn, he lists his departure date from Guns N’ Roses as June 2014.
