I'm suprised Libertad has so many votes, because I just don't like it much, so much so that I don't even listen to it anymore. I busted out Contraband recently and it still rocks from start to finish.

It's a given, but The Black Album to this day still sounds great to me. Those drums, those guitars, those vocals. Imagine Justice with that sound and production James!

Had a listen and it sounds ok, although I find it hard to make out Axl in there, and I'm unsure of whether he really adds anything to the song anyway.
Stuck Inside is still my favourite that I've heard so far.

Would also love a PM from someone please...

While not groundbreaking, this doesn't sound like 80's to me.
It sounds like early-mid 90's metal that Skid Row made on Slave To The Grind and Subhuman Race. And I think it stands up to that stuff that Skid Row did on those albums too, which is really good to hear, especially when Skid Row without Baz leaves allot to be desired...
It probably won't get allot of radio play, but it'll certainly get allot of spins in my car and by others who appreciate good music like this in this genre.

Sounds great, the production is awesome - the drums, the guitars, the bass all sound really nice and crisp, and Sebastian hasn't lost any power in his voice at all. It sounds like it could've come off either Slave To The Grind, or Subhuman Race which I also really liked. Like others have said, this is already a good song without Axl, but his additions are pretty cool still.
I was looking forward to Angel Down already, but wow, I'm REALLY looking forward to it now.

No, I have't got a motorcycle at the moment, I had a road/trail bike up until last year which I sold because I wasn't riding it much. I still wanna get a Harley or a Ducati one day...

Metallica's setlist from their second acoustic set at the Bridge School Benefit, Sunday October 28, 2007:
I Just Want To Celebrate (Rare Earth)
Please Don't Judas Me (Nazareth)
Veteran Of Psychic Wars (Blue Oyster Cult)
Brothers In Arms (Dire Straits)
Disposable Heroes
All Within My Hands
The Unforgiven
Nothing Else Matters
Two different songs to the first night.

There was already a thread started about what you'd pick for a Metallica Greatest Hits, so I thought I'd start one about more 'general' Metallica discussion. And what better way to start that then by discussing this below:
Metallica's setlist from their acoustic set at the Bridge School Benefit, Saturday October 27, 2007:
I Just Want To Celebrate (Rare Earth)
Please Don't Judas Me (Nazareth)
I'm Only Happy When It Rains (Garbage)
Brothers In Arms (Dire Straits)
Disposable Hereos
All Within My Hands
Turn The Page
Nothing Else Matters
Certainly a very interesting set - five covers and three originals... I'd love to hear a recording!
#4090 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Australian Tour Dates 2007 » 932 weeks ago
Going to the first Sydney show, and yeah it should be pretty cool. Anyone know who's opening for them?
I was hoping the VR/AIC tour package would make it's way down under, but if AIC haven't been announced yet, I doubt they'll be on the bill.
