#431 Re: The Sunset Strip » Phil Rudd charged with attempt to hire hitman » 566 weeks ago

Agreed. It kind of put things in perspective that the band saw probably Phil Rudd going off the rails in terms of behavior and didn't want another causality. That might be the reason he's not in the press or promo photos or in the upcoming music video from them. He played on the album and was either dismissed and the "family emergency" is just the band not wanting to dwell into any more drama. Feel bad for Malcolm's family though and what they are going through.

Jeez...what the fuck is going on? First Malcolm's health and Alzheimer's diagnosis now this! Feel bad for the rest of the band. This is really strange behavior coming from Rudd. I know their new album has been a difficulty journey. I have a feeling that they will probably have to get a touring drummer for the tour or cancel it if things aren't worked out legal wise.

Loved last night. Beth is sexy as hell for some reason. Good episode and good cliff hanger. Carol is in the hospital now. I think, only my guess, that Daryl found Noah, the black guy, and they are going to break in the hospital and rescue them like Carol rescued all of them. They should play Welcome to the Jungle as they roll into Atlanta.

Same here. I believe Noah is connected to Morgan in some way and all the paths will cross sometime before the end of the season. Daryl will probably tell Rick's group to head towards the Atlanta hospital. There are rumors that the crazy cops at the hospital actually know Rick and his old police force that Shane was in too.

I think Slash and Huge could've wrote some cool music together. Shame it never happened.

Same here! It would of been interesting to hear what could of been developed and recorded.

Carol reminds me of segorurney weaver from Alien. Stone cold killa.

Indeed. Carol has been one of the most improved characters on this show! Hope the end isn't too near for her. This season has been on fire thus far and only after 3 episodes.

Watched the first two episodes. It's horrible. No redeeming qualities whatsoever. Will watch the third and fourth episodes tonight. If it doesn't have my attention by then, I'm gonna skip the rest of the season.

There's just not enough of a plot to sustain this story for an entire season.

I agree. Next season needs a new show runner, a new vision, and a clearer direction to get back to the greatness of Seasons 1&2 and make it better than those. If not..the series is in trouble. It's getting way too glam..not enough substance...and so many basic arch types that need to be more developed characters.

That's awesome dude! Yeah they did a secret show in DC a couple days ago; but I couldn't attend due to other obligations that day and getting set up for that weekend. Also found out at the last minute too. They are one of the best live bands around. Saw them back in 2011, BADASS ROCK SHOW!!! Need to see them again when a full arena or even club tour shows up near my area again. I dig the two new songs and picking up the new album with the new Pink Floyd album around the release date. I like "the Feast" a little more. Love their heavy rockers. I can't check out the mini doc series due to me not having HBO and only getting a digital channel preview on some special weekends. Looking forward to listening to the full album. Dave and the boys can do no wrong! Especially want to hear that song that Joan Jett plays on...Love her!! I'm just hoping the Carrie Underwood situation isn't another pulling an Aerosmith and hope it benefits the actual song.

Watched the first couple episodes since they aired and in some ways they are a vast improvement over the shallowness of Coven where almost all the characters were poorly written. It had some potential to top both earlier seasons on a grander scale and have more fun. But it wasn't fun to watch towards the end. The only thing that bugs me and alot of viewers is the unnecessary use of musical numbers with Lange and some of the supporting cast with an overdubbed studio polish of a recording set to the performance. THIS IS A HORROR SHOW..NOT FUCKING GLEE, RYAN MURPHY. god...he is ruining his own show with his bullshit. Not only does this show need fresh blood which I agree with. It needs a better and new show-runner. I want Murphy gone sooner rather than later. Like I mentioned to some friends earlier I'm giving this show a couple more episodes before giving up on it. Loved the first two seasons especially Asylum. I want this show to improve. I love the cast choices they pick for the most part. Yeah...both Emma Roberts, Kathy Bates, and Dennis O' Hare were completely wasted and under used towards the end of Coven's run. It felt like a broken record. Also does there need to be a rape scene in every fucking season. I'm getting so sick and tired of that bullshit again by Murphy, Brad, and some of the writers pulling that crap.

Glad to hear your thoughts on the bonus b sides and demos disc. Finally got around to purchasing and listening to the Resurrected re-release and I really enjoyed it. Watched the DVD and it's an interesting doc on how the band was establishing their sound and members coming into the fold. Would of been sweet if they got some press interviews with Jimmy during that time before he passed away; but I can understand. I liked the video for Unholy that was released first officially because it does express their love for their fans and how things have evolved and changed over the years. Even though I became a fan of the band since last year. I liked alot of the songs on here better than on City of Evil and in some ways the white album. Due to their structure and they are more lean with the awesome musicianship. Didn't know how much Gates, The Rev, and Zack shine on this album. More of a fan of Matt's clean vocals; but I do love me some metal core sounds with the guttural screamo vocals since that's the metal I grew up in high school with bands like Killswitch and such. Definitely worth the price with what you get in the set. It's packaged nicely and the band should be proud of where they're going now and glad they are able to look back at their past and embrace well with their future. Arin's a great drummer and I love Hail to the King.

Looks like Slash is going to be a guest on Talking Dead next week.

I'm so excited to hear his thoughts. Know he's a big fan. I know he'll be a shit ton better than whatever the hell Manson was talking about during his guest spot. As for the Daryl being gay thought. I really don't give a shit either way and neither should the fans. It was just an idea in humor by Kirkman, Reedus, and Gimple (the show runner) chiming in for abit. There is nothing more to it, really. As for Carol, she has become one of the strongest improved and better written characters on the show; so seeing how her story arc works out and how it could end is going to be intriguing during this season going forward or later on in a future one.
