I have literally no clue what you're even saying here.
Nutshell is a put on? Seems pretty straight forward to me.
No not the lyrics of the song. The sound of his voice, seems a little manufactured. Which is at odds with the general Alice vibe.
edit: Looking at these comments again they seem harsh, I'm not trying to knock his voice, it's just a very strange and unhuman sound I think, hard for me to relate to it.

It was Moby who told him to "just shut up & sing".
Moby? Where'd you hear that.

Lie To Me is so, so sad. That's another one that gets me to tears if I'm in the wrong mood. We have vinyl listening parties every couple of months and near the end of the last one I'd switched to playing 45s instead of LPs. While going through them I got to Bon Jovi and someone said "OH! Pick out a great Jovi song to spin!". All I had was This Ain't A Love Song and Lie To Me so I had to tell them no based on the fact that I'd drank enough so that I would cry during either
Oh I hear you. It's a terribly heart wrenching song, who hasn't been in a situation close to that at some point. Gives me the shivers.
Behind Blue Eyes - dare I say it even the Limp Bizkit version.
Also Forever Autumn from The War of the Worlds soundtrack.

I agree 100% with "The Drugs Don't Work". That song has a fucking brutal effect on my emotional state. In at number 2 I'd put "Talk Tonight"

Hurt is a little overwrought for me as is nutshell. The music in Nutshell is touching but the "put on" fake element of Layne's voice makes it feel unauthentic in a way that something like "Drugs don't work" just isn't.
Actually "let's all make believe" is another one:

"Lets all make believe that we're all friends and we like each another" harsh

I've said it before and will continue to punch this point home. The only ONLY man who has the attitude and the delivery to front VR and to replace Axl rose is Liam Gallagher
#457 Re: Guns N' Roses » 2013 » 700 weeks ago
I dunno. With the promise of a new album it took what like 18 years to deliver? There's not even a promise of new material in place now.
I'd be skeptical.

Seems like Scott is to Slash what Slash is to Axl, a "cancer"

It is my belief that those who believe in persecution should be persecuted. Those who don't shouldn't. Burn these idiots.
