why the fuck didn't Axl just create a new band with Robin, Bucket et al and just leave GNR where it was.
The man could have enjoyed such an uncomplicated career where he could have put out off the wall rock with the 2002 crew and gone back to GNR every 5 years to do a more classic album. Shit, he could have even done some ambient piano solo albums...
The fucker could have had it all.. now he's polarised and baffled his fans in equal amounts. That's part of his appeal I guess.

That Better vid is sweet, I'd love for Robin to come back permenantly, bring back Brain and I'd bust a nut.
It'll never happen though, Axl has weeded out everyone who is a different height to him so the bow at the end is an even height. Thats what its all about man, thats what its aaaaaaaaaaalways been about...

After this UK tour I might draw a line under it, was going to hang on for CD2 and then wave bon voyage to the forums, but I feel that album is pie in the sky. I'm feeling my patriotism towards the classic era growing and growing and my contempt for the new era doing likewise.
Its not because of personalities, or who is or isnt in the band anymore... its just as the years fly past, more and more I'm looking at them and realising just how artistically woeful they really are.
Fuck the old songs, fuck the Floyd n' AC/DC and whoever covers, and fuck the fuckin Pink Panther Theme... surely you even just occasionally do something original as "GNR" instead, show some balls, show some fire!
So as I'm finding them to get more and more on my tits, its probably best to call it a day sooner rather than later or risk becoming a troll.
So much potential as well

Hopefully I'll be able to get a ticket for Glasgow on Friday, looks like I'll be going alone, my usual rock buddies are unavailable and I cant find anyone else who is interested.

Just grabbed one off of Amazon for $27 with shipping. Listed as "Good condition" which is fine. When I want to listen to the album, I've got the newer 180g for that. I'm more or less getting the original cover just to have it.
Nice did you try it out?
