#5161 Re: Guns N' Roses » Frontman Says GUNS N' ROSES Is Prime Example Of How Not To Act On Tour » 905 weeks ago
I'm so done with crap like this...the band was given an opportunity.
The talk shit about other bands and say GN'R and Rob Zombie are low class?
Hypocrites.
...and all the while Axl and company remain silent because no response is needed...it's all caddy and a waste of time.

If any of you guys have noticed that rosesofvelvet.com is down again...is it for good this time?
Anyone know what the deal is?

HUGE mistake. They should have dumped him now while they had the perfect chance. They would be better off taking a chance on an undrafted rookie than keeping Grossman another year.
Sorry, I have to disagree James. I think a one-year deal is perfect. It provides incentive for him to actually play smart football. Especially when you consider the fact that...they have no other option. What difference does it make if the they draft someone in the 3rd or 7th round and throw him in vs starting Grossman.
The bears will never have a good offense. It's not where they spend they money. They spend their money on defense and try to make the offense just good enough to win. A quarterback will not thrive in any system where the model is just to patch it all together. It's a run first offense, and if they doesn't succeed, then how the hell are you supposed to pass for success?
The Bear's offense has been a joke forever. Even during the superbowl era, their passing offense was below average.
I don't understand why you wouldn't pick up Briggs' contract unless you expect him to not play well once he gets his huge money. Rosenhaus, you piece of shit!!!

...Axl decided he didn't want to finish a tour and didn't show up to a Philadephia gig that ended in a pretty major riot, but then...

Interesting point about the rest of the division being down and the bears being up...but you can hardly use that to predict the future. I think there is still a good two or three good seasons out of a healthy bears defense to be had. HEALTHY mind you...
And here's the thing with the Packers...you watch what happens next year when they start facing all the teams that won their respective divisions this coming year...something they didn't have to do this season. Things will be a bit different...and if a team can figure out how to stop the slant, curl, screen pass combo that brett favre seems so successful with...it won't even need to be much to tumble this young team full of egos that are waiting to sprout this coming season...Javon Walker??? lol
If you think the bear's window is closed...then that means it was only really open for 1, maybe 2 seasons. Some believe they got rid of Mushin to keep Briggs...and with that LB crew and those corners and of course the D-line...then I think there is a chance there for the D to return to some pretty awesome heights...
That being said...Berrian could get his huge contract and be worthless if he doesn't get the attention he likes. The bears Wide outs dropped a lot of passes last year and I felt that was due to the horrible concentration level that comes when 1 out of 20 pass plays actually goes to a receiver.

The bears released Muhammid in the last day or two and are thinking of going after marty booker, again. On top of that, they expect to release Berrian as well. This is so ridiculous. Marty Booker will be our first string guy? Sure he had success up here when he was first around but Marty Booker is a possession receiver...if we had Berrian and Booker...now that might be something to get excited about.
This of course assumes that Berrian would thrive in the number one role.

well as Madagas sugested...apparently its in bad taste to discuss multimillion dollar deals before they are finalized...not that Axl needs a reason to remain mute
the curious thing i find is that in all this Robin, Pittman and even Tommy are just as adept as Axl at disappearing from public life
That's a really good point...but I guess they figure...if there's nothing to say...there's nothing to say

We can always post more of those irrelevant Ron Thal interviews he seems to enjoy giving. Seriously, let's just talk about how cool Robin being a gypsy is.
Seriously...is there anything more annoying that interviewing someone who won't answer questions about anything interesting?
