Just coming from a basic knowledge of physiology and the snake oil that is the fitness market, I can very confidently state that this thing does not and could not do what it is claimed to. Maybe that's why Axl is fat, he's only working out 4 minutes a day lol. There are no short cuts, folks.
That's how I see it as well, like the stuff Chuck Norris advertises.
Hope Axl got his for endorsement purposes, otherwise just another example of his carefree spending habits.

Given Duff has likely been making the deal, I'd suspect it's something like Guns having performance contracts with S&D, who are managed separate from the rest of the band. A step up from underling contract players, but contract players regardless, if that makes any sense

I can imagine Axl's line would remain the same to all these lineup demands.
Maybe if it were you it'd be different. Maybe you'd do it for this reason or that. Peace, whatever... So let sleeping dogs lie or lying dogs sleep or whatever. Time to move on. People get divorced. Life doesn't owe you your own personal happy ending especially at another's, or in this case several others', expense.

Given there's been talk about him getting back to shape (or the need thereof) pre-Coachella, I remembered an obscure bit of news from way back.
AXL GETS FITTom Cruise, Axl Rose and Sylvester Stallone are all having this contraption installed in their mansions right now. It's a gym machine which promises that, in four minutes, you can achieve the same results as if you were to jog for 45 minutes, weight train for another 45 minutes and stretch for 15.
The secret behing ROM (Range of Motion) machine is that it forces you to consume more oxygen as you exercise. And it not only stimulates your muscles, it also creates sufficiently high metabolism so that, after just four minutes, users burn more calories for the rest of the day than the saddos who slog it out on the tredmill.
Yes, we scoffed it. But wouldn't it be fantastic if it really was possible to save yourself that extra 101 minutes of tedium?
You could be doing something more interesting like watching the telly and eating chocolate.
And, according to scientists at the University of Southern California, the ROM machine does work. With prolonged use, their guinea pigs not only replaced body fat with muscle, but also achieved the same level of fitness from their daily four minutes as if they'd been doing 45 minutes of aerobics a day.
The downside? It costs £7,778.
It's tested with guinea pigs, Axl. Give it a shot.

You guys didn't really think it was going to go off without any drama or usual GnR antics we've come to expect?
The thought did cross my mind that it was mighty brave of them to tout the appearance.
Remember when Axl spoke to a very sleepy Eddie Trunk in around 2012 after a show?
Trunk and his producer said later that Axl's handlers kept him in the dark about it, initially.
This was because 'Axl would be freaked out for days' if he'd know about going on the TV.
Anxiety attack. It is what it is. Good ol' Red is coming back.
Would be a laugh if he'd keep the Coachella crowds waiting.

When the word first broke out that the band would 'leave it in Vegas', it was said that Axl might retire. Curious.

I liked NOTHING about that 09-14 lineup. The sight of DJ Ashba alone is enough to make me cringe.

I could've seen them in 2010. Axl was in reasonable form and voice, there and then.
Opted against it. I'd already seen the '06 band and the '10 would've been a step down.
