Pretty remarkable to finally see/hear the HOB pro-shot after all these years. I miss that band, and particularly that Axl.
It’s up on YouTube... for now.
I feel really lame for harping on about it but if there’s complete versions of Oh My God/Silkworms I’d very much like to hear them.

Wait, a stereo version of Silkworms/OMG leaked, too?
Shit. Uh, not to be a begger, but can anyone point me in the direction of that, too?
Ditto here.
It's getting hard to keep track...

TWAT is interesting. More organic and less "messy". No orchestra/synth or Buckethead.
2006 leak remains the superior version, though.
The Blues pretty much sounds like the 2002 live performance(s). Same vocal track as what's on CD.
I still prefer the 2007 demo but it's very nice.

I'd really like to hear an unedited (and unaltered) studio version of Silkworms. I can't put my finger on it, but I find the song intriguing - even in this state.
You can throw Oh My God, or rather this rendition of the song, in the garbage. It sounds like a hot mess. Who on earth decided to add that "disco" break?
It was Axl, wasn't it. The madman.
I'm pleased to have finally heard it... but that's about as far as I'm willing to go.

I'd just like to chime in to say you're both acting like giant man-children. Get a fucking grip, boys.
Thank you and good night.

I kind of liked it.
Agreed. I mean, it's not earth-shattering or anything but I'd hardly call it offensive either.
The chorus reminded me of 'No More Mr. Nice Guy' by Alice Cooper.
I've heard much worse solo efforts from other (present and former) GN'R members.

they don`t release albums because Axl does n`t want to, not because Izzy is n`t there.
It baffles me why some of you ascribe to Izzy supernatural powers when he`s nothing but a mediocre rhythm guitarist.
You really think NTLF tour would have been any different had Izzy been involved ? get a reality check
That's not what I said, but yes - or at least in part.
Izzy isn't a person who's capable of going on tour for 2 to 3 years without creating and releasing new material. It makes him itch. I don't believe he would've agreed to come back without a guarantee.
I'm not trying to ascribe him supernatural powers as much as pointing out the only time they've tried to do so without him they completely imploded.
As far as him only being a "mediocre rhythm guitarist"... Please.
Now I don't know if they are or aren't writing new music (I'm sure Slash & Duff have in some capacity) but I very much doubt Axl has taken the time to. If that were to happen the most likely scenario would be overdubbing unreleased CD tracks.
I do agree he probably doesn't want to release an album. Why? Out of fear.
The process of recording and eventually releasing Chinese Democracy shook him to the core and I think he's absolutely terrified of going through all that again.

More touring.
GN'R may play 3+ hour shows and a wide variety of material (A+ for that effort), but at the heart of it this reunion is a "cash grab". If there was any interest in making new music or moving forward as a band they would've taken the time to write and record in a studio beforehand.
I feel the whole premise of not talking to the press is just another way to make it roll by faster. It's not that I don't think they're having a blast or aren't enjoying each other's company again - because I do - but rather if the agenda was to make a real go of this and basically reignite where they left off then things would've been handled differently.
I also believe if that was the plan they would have made an actual effort of getting Izzy back into the fold, rather than being greedy assholes and refusing to share the money equally between all parties. Without him there's not much point in writing new music because they've never been able to do so as a unit without his presence. You could make a similar case for Matt/Steven, albeit much less important.
2018 will be spent on the road and then... who knows? Maybe they'll continue to tour in 2019 but it wouldn't shock me if next year is the final nail in the coffin for Guns N' Roses as an active group.
