Lies could have been a really cool 2nd album if they would have put November Rain, Yesterdays (the demo acoustic one recorded properly would have been great), The Garden, etc. I believe The Garden was in the early stages of development as of 1988/89, as was Estranged and Breakdown. I would not have put the 86 EP with it. A ten song acoustic/electric laid back record would have been the perfect compliment to AFD.

we don't KNOW anything except that Axl gave a song to a video game. If any song needs 5 years to be created or worked on, then it needs to be scrapped.

there is no verse after the solo.....that is what turns me off. The last minute is just blah. Don't get me wrong, I love about a minute of Shackler's and there is some very cool vocals and guiter parts in places. But, as a total song, I'm not feeling it. And, yes OMG would be pretty wicked with some fresher sounding guitars.
