I am with Intercourse....
If you'll excuse me, I'll jump in.
I honestly don't believe anything is happening in the near future....album or reunion...would love to be proved wrong but the track record speaks for itself.
Yes.
Any movement on Guns front would be welcome with me.
But a reunion in 2016 - and this is November '15.
Axl & Izzy snubbed RRHOF just over three years ago.
It's a long way to the stage from the moment Slash and Axl hug and cry.

Yup, Chinese leftovers should be the hors d'ouvre for a reunion.
I mean, what's the point afterwards?

“Slash and Axl have verbally agreed to get things together again and reform the original band. The live shows is where they can show the world what they had and also make the greatest earnings,” a music insider exclusively told Dish.
“Promoters are quietly working away to land opportunities. Details of the reunion are expected to leak out in the next few days."
"Insider".
*Yawn*
In a few days, the next batch of unconfirmed rumours.
Enthusiasm may eventually meet the curb, mind you.

I agree w/ the posts above.
An immature way to comment.
What ever happened to no news is good news?
With this band, that went out the door in the nineties.
Of course today everyone is a jouranlist.
Yup, and everybody goes to a car wash.
If only they could read lips...
Do we need binoculars as well for Axl's two cents?
Surely they'll read between the lines
As ever. Same bat time, same bat channel, eh?

All I still see is Slash's incidental comment on mending fences snowballing, instead of a confirmation for reunion next year.
People (as well as media outlets) cling on to that glimmer of hope and suddenly, everything is read as pointing towards a specific thing.
Now, drunk ladies are the new insiders. Please.

Two things we can bet on.
Guns plans can take a long time to come to pass.
Ax likes to take his time.
Slash will be recording / touring with his own band as long as he can.
Slash likes to stay out there.

Wishful thinking, anyone?
You have to hand it to the press. They can cleave a whole different take from the same set of words.

He has eluded to major difficulties in this area for years now.
Axl was major-league bummed by the way CD was released.
He felt Azoff was sabotaging the album to make way for a reunion.
Yet, I heard Azoff's actual plan was to clear the CD slate (2-3 albums) by RRHOF.
Having said that, they had massive rows in early 2009 over touring.
Axl also berated the US offices of Uni for the lack of promo.
He himself stayed home, as he felt he was being played with.
He fell out with and sued Azoff. They settled and Axl gave him a North American tour.
Of course, Axl was pushed to do it. The tour began in RIR 2011, with Axl out of form.
His relationship with Uni was, at that point, still underneath the fallout of CD.
"We'll be putting out new stuff as soon as we can figure out what our deal is with labels..." (Axl, Dec '11)
This may be his latest referral to Uni in public. AFDem came out since, after a long time of haggling.
His relations with the label may have warmed up after the release of a product.
AFDem originally came out in the midst of the 2014 Vegas residency.
At the same time, Axl was setting up to put the live band on stasis.
He was saying how he intended to look into CD2.
Uni's line may now be, 'Call us when you're ready'.
So far I've seen nothing to suggest Axl's long term plans are anything but doing things on his own terms 100%. He and the ex members knows that won't happen in a reunion.
Which is why, I think, Axl may be pocketing the remaining production costs on CD2.
Uni may reimburse him upon release, but I doubt he's getting an open tab anymore.
