I'd personally prefer a line up of Axl Rose, Richard Fortus, Izzy Stradlin, Tommy Stinson, Frank Ferrer and Dizzy Reed...
Richard has the chops to play anything, basically and has a great portfolio of contributing great guitar parts to even Rihanna style music.
Let him loose on a track that has the foundation written by Axl, Izzy and Tommy and you have a true GNR 2.0 experience.

Thought that was pretty disrespectful... Lame for a nobody, altough talented he is nobody so far..

Okay, let me try to detail how I think Sorry reminded me of Hey You when I first heard it:
- Acoustic guitars proeminent on the mix and the arrangements of the acoustic guitars between verses
- The pace/tempo is similar
- The way the electric solo kicks in
- The almost spoken altough sang melodies
- The choruses being way more melodic than the verses
- The lower register on Axl's part and the way the verses are constructed
- The overall "vibe" of the song
If I'd compare them I'd say Hey You is much much better than Sorry, hands down one of my favorite Floyd songs. I was just saying that when I first listened to Sorry it reminded me of Hey You... Once somebody said that they got the floyd-ish vibe out of it I thought I'd share.
The "reminds me" part on my first post might have been confusing and English is not my first language so sometimes I'm lacking vocabulary to express what I really mean. A shorter "It reminded me of Hey You the first time I've heard it" could've done it

I'm not comparing the songs not even saying one or the other is better.
If you weren't using your troll costume tonight you'd have noticed that.

And what "Waters era Floyd" are you referring to? That phrase covers a ton of different musical styles."The Wall" albeit with Axl's attitude.
All 26 songs?
For me, the only thing I on The Wall that sounds even in the same ball park as Sorry is Don't Leave Me Now.
Reminds me of HEY YOU actually and I had this thought the first time I've heard it.

If the Lebeis are responsible - and they'll probably be - for his estate, you bet there will be A LOT of releases when Axl is gone for good.
Expect the Perfect Crime documentary, expect a DVD every three months of UYI concerts, expect greates hits 2, 3,4,5 and so on, expect box sets, alternate versions, Chinese Democracy re-recorded with Slash and DUff, GN'R reunion with Justin Bieber singing...
The sad thing? I'm not kidding.

As they choose to tour endlessly over even recording or writing (not talking about releasing...)
Ca$h Grab.. Guns N' Roses Inc.

And then we see this interview from Bumblefoot and a glass of water is spilled on our beers...

(Between 19 and 27 minutes are the heavy GNR parts)
I'm pretty confident GNR's only a cash grab today. Guns N'Roses inc. Pretty disapointed with the state Gn'R is in nowadays. I really hope 2013 brings something new.

Well, on another subject, Bumble did a video podcast recently for a youtube channel and the question on new material was asked.
He replied politely that all GN'R gear for recording and writing was set up at Dj's house but "life got in the way".
Is that a politic way to say Axl didn't show up?
I'm starting to lose hope.

For me, the only thing I on The Wall that sounds even in the same ball park as Sorry is Don't Leave Me Now.
