I am SO fucking tired of TV and the never ending hidden agenda.  I turn to one channel and some fucking faggot is showing chicks how to do a "catwalk" (he's dressed with eyeliner, lashes and a dress!) while Tyra Banks is just smiling from ear to ear...uh, here's and idea how about SHE shows them and get this dumb fuck the hell off the set?  I turn to the next channel and there is some fag talking about how hot George Clooney is... I give it another flip of the channel and now there's some idiot on the TV guide channel who looks like a chick acting all fucked up.  I don't hate anyone based on color, beliefs or sexuality but I fucking hate having it shoved in my face constantly from these special interest groups who dominate the media.  Ok, rant over...(the remote goes click)

#722 Re: The Sunset Strip » Charlton Heston dead at 84 » 944 weeks ago

Heston was one of those rare few who brought that special "something" to a character, whatever he touched had instant class added to it.  One of the few left from an age where guys could act like guys and be proud in the fact that they stood for something besides what the media tried to shove down their throats as "normal".

One interesting thing about dreams is how we differ in the way we dream.  Some people dream in color, some only in black and white.  Some of us are lucid dreamers (being aware you are dreaming and having the ability to control the dream) and some have never had this happen.  Then there is the subject matters of dreams itself.  I know I have often dreamed the same dream or at least about the same basic subject (a person I don't know in the real world, this house I've never seen outside of my dreams, etc), sometimes years apart!!

What's your dreams like?  Anything you find interesting involving the subject of dreams?

Of course we all know the subject of Slinger's favourite dreams...

Can't blame BS on this one.  He had came in with a tee shirt supporting his (errr...excuse me, he claims it is his "sister's") favorite band but then they forced him to go with the more traditional hood pic that he posted.  However, since Backslash is a good friend of mine I was able to unearth a pic of him wearing his concert tee before the photographer made him change...see?, it wasn't his fault!

People rag on Bach but fuck 'em, he would sound much better with the band than Scott ever did.

#727 Re: Guns N' Roses » Robin back in NIN. Temp or not is the question? » 945 weeks ago

Doesn't mean anything one way or the other in my opinion.  We all know that even IF C.D. were to come out this year it would be LATE this year.  Robin will probably see how NIN is looking and if GNR is looking better that's where he'll be...if Axl is still fucking around for a release "soon" a few months into the tour and Trent wants to record new material (he's very prolific) Robin will very likely say "bon voyage".

#728 Re: The Sunset Strip » Motley Crue Discussion » 945 weeks ago

Musically I like it ok, some of the guitar work is vintage Crue but the songwriting iw off.  Not that the Crue will ever be mistaken for the poet laureates or anything but I've heard MUCH better quality song writing than this by them.  At least it's getting closer to the classic sound...that's a good thing.

Dreams are messed up because we can't really explain them.  To me it's crazy that the mind can make you sense things that aren't there at any time, but it's even more crazy that it happens while you sleep.  While you rest the rest of your body, your brain is most active.

I've always shared the view that dreams are actually a gateway to a dimension that the conscious can't detect.  I don't really think that random impulses to the brain conjuring up sensations and very real emotions makes a whole lot of sense.  Especially when you haven't experienced them before.

I have to agree with that BS.  I do believe that your thoughts, memories, etc do play a part in what you dream and sometimes even are simply the pieces put together in a rough sort of "play" but there are other times when there is more to it.  Crimes have actually been solved from someone dreaming the information (like what happened at the crime, where the weapon is now, etc).  I've also dreamed about things before they happened.  I really believe the dream world is another reality of our existence that we simply don't understand as well as the "waking" reality.  Life after death is a very common belief and I'm not sure that this world that we call "Dreams" may not be that life itself.
