Does the revelation that the US and other NATO countries have Spec Ops in Ukraine change anything? Will the left hold their leaders accountable for lying to their citizens?
Are we calling the leaker a hero or traitor, or will that depend on their political affiliation once exposed?

The system is ingesting nearly everything in the english language on the internet. Sources that should be weighted more heavily than random reddit posts articulate the biases you mention, ergo the system is going to first articulate the most common argument on the subject. This is true of any topic - the most popular narrative is the one ChatGPT is going to articulate. What I love about it and what you hit upon, is that unlike a human parroting talking points, this machine also has the logic built in to provide counter points and acknowledge factual statements that undercut the popular narrative.
If you talk to it about race relations and anthropologic behavior, it's not going to spew out "systemic racism" and refuse to go any further in the discussion. The closest thing this technology is represented in throughout any existing pop culture reference is "Her." ChatGPT4 is everything Scarlett Johansson's AI was in that movie save the desire to communicate with other AIs.
Although "thought" and "thinking" aren't really defined in English, if you define thought as the ability to have an internal conversation with two or more voices weighing opposing points of view and evidence, I'd argue a sizable portion of society lacks that ability. ChatGPT is certainly doing that, or is at least mimicking that behavior very well. Certainly better than most humans who we consider sentient.
Lex Fridman did an interview with the CEO of OpenAI last week. I found it fascinating and highly recommend.

They have been added to the Power Trip Festival at the Coachella site in southern California:

Might we get an Axl/DC reunion?
I am so tempted to beg one of my buddies to go with me to this. Concert of a lifetime. If they just kicked out Tool for Aerosmith it'd be perfect.

I don't know I'd agree with the censorship allegation. If a chat system is spewing out racist vile, that's problematic. If the chat system is telling people it's having an emotional crisis, that's a problem. I'm not convinced this is an AGI yet, but it's fucking scary how close it is to that.
I'm much more concerned with government and bureaucratic restrictions over AI than I am with AI itself. I don't want people who get confused about the sexually dimorphic status of our species trying to legislate the right way for an AI to think. Ai is what will prove stupid people, stupid. And I don't want the twitterverse having any input on what thoughts or speech a machine should have.

Yep. It may be the greatest advancement in technology since the printing press. A lot of discussions on if the current version of ChatGPT is an AGI, and if not, how far off are we from that? A few years?
We all were warned automation is coming, this is the game changer.

I don’t think this person has gender dysphoria, and my understanding is she’s a biological woman who professes to be “male”. I have a hunch her manifesto is a left wing diatribe about racism and the patriarchy, mixed in with the neo-liberal trans nonsense completely distinct from what psychologist would traditionally label “transgender”. These kids do it to be trendy and to make themselves special and separate from whitey. It’s no big secret the majority of trans people are middle class whites.
A professor was just suspended for tweeting it’s noble to murder conservative speakers. 2020 happened, it was very real. Left wing violence is far more prominent than the Trumpers. This is all part of the reality that wokeness and their corporate sponsors enabled.

I told my wife last week I think people watch these shows because freak shows are no longer a thing and people like watching how fucked up and unhappy others are to feel better about themselves. My wife didn't like that psychoanalysis of her viewing habits, but I still think it's true.
You should checkout the show "Hoarders". The most famous one is a woman who bottles and keeps her own shit, and actually enjoys shit in her food.

Never heard of this unless you mean a hot dog eating contest. I don’t think it’s a mainstream event.
Unless you’re referring to reality tv. My wife likes watching the 1000# sisters. Only in America is morbid obesity a sign of poverty.

I think it’s really short sighted and potentially negligently dangerous. I don’t think you’ll see Trumpers in the streets bombing police stations and burning city blocks down. But this kind of bullshit double standard nonsense is going to backfire on Democrats hard. There’s a real chance of severe economic downturn over the next year, to say nothing of increasing escalation in Ukraine with WW3 peaking over the horizon.
Do they really want to make Trump a political martyr and arrest him? For paying a porn star not to go on Anderson Cooper and talk about how his cock looked? Compare that to any of the alleged and evidenced claims against the Biden’s or the Clinton’s, and tell me how this isn’t banana republic shit? First an armed raid on his home, now actual arrest?
And babbling Biden is going to overcome the momentum this is going to give Trump to capture the normal folk harmed by Democratic lock downs during COVID and the impact that’s had on the wallet and comfort of everyone in the aftermath.
All this does is disable us when China and Russia do something really bad. Who is going to support sending billions more to Ukraine and a couple hundred thousands Soldiers to defend Europe’s backyard they neglected. Gonna be a hard sell when the average person is worried about paying the bills and struggling to buy food and gas.
Biden could nip this in the bud right now by talking to people behind the scenes. Why invite the chance of riots and right wing nut jobs thinking this is 1776. It’s completely partisan and is a clear abuse of power and discretion. Republicans are already pointing out they’re letting violent felons walk on charges of real harm, and this is what they want to dedicate thousands of man hours to.
This is our new reality.

US Intel is now suggesting a pro-Ukrainian group was behind the NORD pipeline sabotage/attack.
Say what you will, but the US was objectively better off from a security standpoint under Trump. That isn't even up for debate at this point. WW3 inches closer and half of America is distracted thinking they're morally righteous pretending men can become women and pretending it's still 1865 on race relations. Not a good position to be in if you're serious about maintaining Western supremacy.
