My first favorite hard rock band....early 80’s. I was fifteen at the time. There will never be another EVH.

Frank doesn’t suck at all. Good news he isn’t a crack head or an asshole. I think he is solid. Sorry, but NOBODY outside of extreme hardcores gives a shit who the drummer of Gnr is.

There a lot of bands out there who release tons of music and their entire fan base doesn’t even touch the number of Gnr or even Axl hardcores. Gnr is still a huge band on a worldwide scale
Axl should want it released just to show the depth of what actually went on in those sessions.

Here is a tie in sort of ...The Replacements just released a boxset of their album Don’t Tell A Soul...it’s called Dead Man’s Pop. They actually released the entire album with a different mix and different producer. The mixes on the boxset were not used at the time as the record company wanted another producer to try and make the album more commercial. Sound familiar??? The record company stripped away the “soul” of the album. The Replacements wanted to put their version out.
Now, what if our boy decided to take the Beaven mixes or even some of Baker’s mixes and strip down the album back to their original versions. It would be killer.
Obviously, it would be for hardcore fans only but there’s enough of us out here to make it worth releasing....imo.

Bumblefoot may have been Axl’s biggest mistake of that era....nothing against Bumble. Tommy mentioned that at some point as well. I bet the Tommy/Axl comments on stage at Hammerstein came from the tension caused by Axl dropping in Bumble at the last minute.
