Folks, see this film. I think it features the best of Hoffman since his turn in Todd Solondz's Happiness.

Some mates use e-cigs and seems to work for them. I have an eGo-t in the house, used it for a while but kind of let it go... It never quite worked for me and the spark didn't pick up. I appreciate the less smoke, better smell/taste, the ability for indoor use, etc. It has a lot of upsides compared to traditional cigs. I was using non-nicotine solutions with it, so it did little to cater my nicotine addiction. That was probably the thing that pushed me away from it.
Fuck Chantix.. I heard that shit makes you wanna kill yourself...
Oh, yeah. I looked at a listing of possible side effects, which include
Anxiety, confusion, depression, restlessness, or mood changes.
Fast, pounding, or uneven heartbeat.
Lumps on your neck, armpit, or groin.
Seeing or hearing things that are not really there.
Unusual bleeding, bruising, or weakness.Seriously. Nicotine withdrawal is no cakewalk, but this Chantix seems to completely mess people up.
1,5 months and counting.

Darknemus, otherwise known as Craig, was a network engineer from Florida who pretended to be Axl many years ago. I believe he started out hoaxing GN'R fans for a little while. Then when he got bored of that, he carried on posting normally, but was known sometimes to involve himself with potential leaks and general troublemaking on occasion. It was all harmless fun
He passed on the story of spending New Years Eve with Axl's then-girlfriend. dark could've also been Latigo Hammers, Axl's online impersonator, which is probably the story you're referring to. A storyteller like MSL, but perhaps a bit less show-off. I chuckled at his recollection of hiding underneath a radio station table to hear a recording of IRS
He was not part of the Hammerstein presale though
He was involved in creating and promising to distribute the fan-made DVD of the Hammerstein shows. There were many preorders, but his delivery wasn't all on time.
#897 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Axls Statement on Buckethead 2004 » 641 weeks ago
His transient lifestyle has made it impossible for even his closest friends to have nearly any form of communication with him whatsoever.
Last time I talked to Bucket, he called to tell me...
Then, in February we got word from Brain that Bucket had called him...
Somewhere in the following month things changed once again. According to those who have actually spoken with Buckethead...
Buckethead was a phone call away from Axl, Brain and (presumably) Merck. Either Axl didn't call him firsthand to ask what's what, or Bucket repeatedly left those calls unreturned. By all accounts, Axl wasn't there for Bucket in the studio most of the time. He wasn't around to tell when he was happy on a guitar part, a song or an album. Bucket (like the rest of the band) would generally pack up and leave before Axl'd show up to work into the night. Axl was doing this since the '96 sessions - only now no-one was saying no to it. It had become Axl's way or the highway. No wonder Bucket would've become frustrated, uncertain and directionless with his own role in Guns and his work on the album. Whatever he recorded, Axl owned, and Bucket could never release it as such, ever. This was a cycle that kept repeating itself.
Who or what is going to force Axl's hand now?
Leaks. They force Guns and Uni to respond in some way to make the best out of a bad situation. Axl gets his money by touring, and appears happy enough with the CD release now behind him. Mounting another album is obviously a fearsome prospect to him, and he's avoiding it. He thinks there's a chance he'll get even more mauled this time around, so he's rather boozing it out.

Carr's clinics claim 90% success rate in helping smokers stop for three months, and 51% success rate in helping smokers stop for 12 months. - Wiki
Clinic is arguably a more robust cessation method than a book as you get a controlled environment and dedicated human support. Out of ten people, nine will have 12 weeks without smoking. Four of them will lapse during the following 40 weeks.
Interestingly, there seems to be a consensus among cessation studies on success rates. Going from three to six months appears to be the clincher; get past that - down to a year, even - and you're highly unlikely to start smoking again regularly. Powerful drug, for sure. A friend of mine lapsed after a six-month cessation over 20 years ago, I understand he smokes to this day.
As for me, was in the water for the first time since quitting. Swimming felt quite amazing

I went without one for 3 days in the army once. It was tough.
Looking back, it was the army that got me into smoking regular in the first place.
I remember, for the first few days, smoking was banned among recruits. Sure ticked some people off.
Try running now & then if you can, you'd be surprised at the adrenaline rush you get from it. Don't worry, even if its only a mile or so, lol. In a week you'll be close to 3.
I'm an active runner, so it'll be interesting to see how the body'll handle itself once the snows clear.
