I'll be watching this one if possible and looking forward to it, I just hope it's a game and not a blowout...we will know by halftime. I think part of the reason there isn't as much hype as you would expect is because it isn't needed this time. Everybody has heard about "the perfect" season ALL SEASON long and the hype about the records, greatest team of all time (which they are not, everybody knows that is the 84 49er's! 
) and so on. If NYG comes in and plays at the level they have lately the perfect season is over.

There is a great amount of speculation surrounding the fate of Chinese Democracy. IF it is indeed turned in then perhaps we will see it "soon". IF it is NOT turned in we may never see it. I've listed a few options to gauge people's opinions with. Option 5 would cover the idea of maybe some songs would appear on a soundtrack, some on a bonus disc in a boxed set, etc. If you choose option 6 then please give your take on situation. Thanks for your participation!

Here's one I REALLY hate...."homophobic". I don't hate anyone based on their sexual preference, race or whatever but does that mean I can't choose to dislike the fact that nearly every damned show on TV has to have some flaming gay dude in your face? I made a comment around a few buddies the other night about how sick I am of having the media trying to push that shit to the extreme as part of its hidden agenda and one of my buddies' girlfriends (dumbass brought his date to a guy night, lol) had to pop off the "homophobic" card. 
Maybe people who say that are just "heterophobic".

The leaks are what made me want Chinese Democracy even moreso than the stuff we heard in 2001 but it is also the reason I am pissed off. The 2006 letdown was the THIRD damn time I was played for a fool and I'm not likely to run the next time I hear them cry "wolf". Sure, I want the album but until I have it in my hands it's just more smoke being blown up my ass...again.
GNRSucks won't be the last forum to die if this shit continues. We may be diehard fans but we are not diehard fucking idiots. Treat us with some respect. A simple update about something besides a stolen bike would be a good start.

The boxed set in limited quantities wouldn't be such a bad idea but tone it down to a three disc set and sell it for 29.99, then you have something. Disc one would be the long awaited Chinese Democracy. Disc two: Take some of the stuff we've all heard and loved (Bring it Back Home/Crash Diet/etc) and REMASTER it so that we can enjoy it the way is should be. Disc three: The best live performances that contain songs from Chinese Democracy along with covers like We Are Sailing/Back in the U.S.S.R and so on all remastered. Finally top it off with a bonus dvd of some live performances of GNR from 2001-up...better yet a remastered House of Blues 1/1/1 dvd!
