Richard is only on a handfull of tracks, 4 or 5, even the ones he's on its a mystery what he actually does. Personally I think if Slash hadnt trashed Paul Tobias so badly, he wouldnt be on the album as much and Richard would have re-done most of his parts. Paul featuring so heavily on a Guns N Roses record was one big "fuck you" to Slash from Axl. ( I also think Slash's trashing Paul and his apparantly controversial and differing recollection of Todd Crews death in his book is a major factor in Axls loathing of him.)

For me the original leaks of The Blues, Catcher, CD, and one of the later TWAT leaks are better than the album version - as for the rest the album versions are better.
The old live versions of Madagascar and The Blues are better than the albums versions though, surely there must be a studio recording of those versions lying around somewhere 11

Thought they got on well, what did he say about Axl?

I got my brother that book for his christmas last year, I must borrow it.

See my brother he fucking despises Axl and new GNR, he wont even listen to CD. Its funny, we were huge GNR fans as kids and nowadays he listens to VR albums and I listen to CD. He even blasts the VR versions of GNR tunes and I blast the new GNR versions, when GNR played Glasgow I asked if he was going and he pured sneered at me saying "I wouldnt give that cunt a penny of my money."

I suppose thats the 2 sides of the divide in a nutshell 16

The bicycle cover would look so much better if it didnt have Guns N Roses in huge letters down the side, and all the cover was the picture with the graphetti Guns N Roses... so much more powerfull.

Not really relevant but I'll tell you's anyway cause i'm half cut! Around the hills where I stay they used to light fires and this was to confuse the Nazi bombers where Glasgow was, Glasgow and the surrounding towns where blacked out - no lights on and bedsheets over the windows etc.

When I was a wee boy me and my pals used to go digging up the old bombshells, they were all rustied away mostly but you found some good one where they were recognisable as a bomb.
Point is, I cant help but think just how dangerous it was for us wee lads to be hacking away at hillsides with sticks trying to expose bombs lol!!

I remember the first time I brought one home my mum screamed and chucked it straight out my bedroom window 14

No Im not yanking you lol, I'm grateful for every countries effort in bringing down the Nazis, and especially Russia, cause if Germany hadnt backed off from their assault on Britain and made the blunder of taking the war to the east, Britain would have fell. We were just holding them off, and it took all our resouces to beat off their final assault on us... if they hadnt decided to change plan after being beaten back in the "Battle Of Britain" and attack Russia instead putting all their resources into fighting Britain, we wouldnt have been able to hold off another prolonged assault.
