I saw that post on fb buzz. It would've been pretty cool with end up in Vegas at the same time.

I'm super looking forward to it. I didn't get there 4 times, but I did do 3 in one year once, it was awesome. I'm going in January for CES but I'll be working the whole time, so I wanted to do this one now so I can have fun in the city.

I usually don't like weekend trips but this is how it worked out best for the 6 people going and their schedules, so we'll be alright. In other news, this is the bullshit Stacey is doing:

Holy fuckin' ball sauce!!!!!

First of all, if you've been up to the top of that thing, you already know that it's a little nerve racking. Second is that they must have you sign your life away before you jump off that thing, the liability waiver must be a mile long! Finally, I'd shit my PANTS doing that, no way!!!

My favorite part of wanting to do the jump is how hilarious I find it that I will do that but not the Insanity (see below)

I've been out to Red Rocks as well as Green Valley. I saw a country band called Emerson Drive there one night a few years back. The casino, the venue and the band were all awesome.

I'm told I should get over to Laughlin (sp?) sometime?

Not really much going on over in Laughlin I don't think. Maybe it's changed since I've been out there?

Mt. Charleston is cool because it's desert, desert, desert and then....Colorado mountains. Very pretty, unexpected, and a nice break from everything. If you've got a gal, run up there for some lunch and then some outside nookie. Hiking  too, and great all around sight seeing. They even have a ski resort up there (not many people know that.) If you could rent a motorcyle or convertible it would be even better for that one.

I just like Green Valley because you actually win there. It's more locals so they are going to loosen it up a bit. I've never won jack shit on the Strip but have won several times at GV.

I love Vegas overall, I think it's a great city from the Strip to all the other nooks n' cranies. Grand Canyon isn't far away and neither is the hoover dam. If you were a baller you could rent a helicopter and fly over both! If so, report back with pics please. 21

You doin' the live version of If Tomorrow Never Comes on me there?

But yeah, I think we're gonna pull the trigger. The tickets are $250 BUT there's stuff on the strip like Phantom of the Opera or The Beatles Love that's getting like $130-$180 a seat. If I'm gonna pay that, why not throw a couple more bucks with it and see one of the best entertainers ever live and up close?

Totally. People can say what they want about Garth, but the guy is the biggest country music star of all-time. Period. Songs, a virtually flawless catalog in a short period of time (think The Beatles with GN'R output), and you gotta see the guy if you have the chance. I never have had the chance, but the guy is still the man. If I had a chance to see Ray Charles or James Brown in his prime or Chuck Berry, i'd be right there. I think Garth is that iconic for his genre of music.

Garth almost did grunge-like songs in terms of spirit. If Tomorrow Never Comes is one, but The Dance man is just got a totally tragic vibe, great stuff.

Hope you enjoy it, and/or can get the tix. My only issue with it, is that if I was gonna see Garth, I wish it was the old school bigger than like Guns N' Roses 1992 with a belt buckle shows Garth used to do.

The Vegas show is almost like an acoustic/theater setting.

I'd be curious after you go, what kind of energy the show has in the audience. Something tells me I've Got Friends In Low Places doesn't translate the same not being played in the sold out football/baseball stadiums.
