Most people think of Slash on the same level with Jimmy Page & Joe Perry.
Just sayin'
Neither Joe nor Slash are considered to be in Page's league. Very few are.

Yeah and to be honest. I think that's fair. Joe Perry is my favorite guitarist, but Jimmy Page is much better.

Bigger impact on other guitarists, plus a better catalog of riffs/solos. In terms of impact, it's Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, and then everyone else in the rearview mirror.

Meh...Slash is the clapton/Hendrix of our generation. You watch when (god forbid) he dies....generations that follow will worship him more than they do now already. His back catalogue is actually stronger on a riff by riff basis IMHO. I expect you all to disagree.
And D, As for TWAT, I don't think overall it's a better song than SCOM, JUNGLE etc...but vocally...I think it's axl's finest moment to date. Those other songs you mention are kickass - but it's the guitar and lyrics that are great more than the actual studio take that's on record. If you think about it - jungle of AFD doesn't even have the "Do you know where you are" scream in it. Don't get me wrong love those old songs, but there's nothing on those albums that's half as bad ass a screaming fit of passion as that twat vocal outro....in terms of the pure vocals and nothing else

I didn't say TWAT was better than anything. I was using your logic about what peoples' opinions are in stating what's the best and what's not. You just proved my point with Dumb and Dumber and Pulp Fiction. But thanks for unintentionally getting it. 
I'd definitely put TWAT, Better and Prostitute in the top 10.

we defo should do a collective favourite list. seems like there'd be some shocking individual lists. i like them but Better/Prostitute top 10 is p wild stuff imo.

* I think Estranged is the best GN'R song. Reason Jungle is #1 is because it's a perfect song, from beginning to end. Everything fits, lyrics, vocals, instruments, production, song structure. It's probably THE most perfect rock song I've ever heard. The same as to why SCOM is over NR.
Honorable mentions: Breakdown, DTJ, YCBM, If The World, Chinese Democracy, Catcher In The Rye, Don't Cry, Nightrain.
