Republicans (and Sessions) are started to cave in to "recusing" him, whereas now Dems have moved onward to "resigning". lol, funny how it happens that way.
All part of the game. Democrats call for harshest punishment & paint it in worst light possible to gain some leverage, probably with aim of recusing himself from the inquiry & not actually resigning. Republicans don't want to give an inch or surrender any power or admit any wrong doing.
Be very surprised if he is forced to resign tho. Doesn't seem to be an awful lot in it, not much grounds for the controversy. A storm in a teacup. Or vodka shot. Doesn't seem close to grounds for dismissal, in fact it seems more likely the question during his hearing was worded in such a manner as to predict & cover this very issue i.e. he wasn't asked did he have contact with Russian officials, he was asked did he have contact with Russian officials with relation to the election. Plenty of leeway there.

I know right. Lynch can get caught having a secret meeting in a hangar with the husband of someone under investigation by the FBI and Democrats will find nothing amiss, but Sessions shakes someone's hand at a public meeting and all of a sudden he's guilty of treason. It's funny how inane and illogical one of our major party's are. It's not like they put the father of a mass shooter on stage or the mother of an attempted cop killer on stage...oh wait. Why do people take the DNC serious again?

This all started with the Republicans. You can't be concerned about Benghazi, obamas birth certificate and emails but downplay very obvious concerns about Russian ties and influence.
The biggest difference in my opinion is that there is way more smoke surrounding this than there ever was with any of the issues the Republicans were concerned with for the past 8 years.
The hypocrisy is self-evident and calls into question their concerns to begin with.

When did she recuse herself? It wasn't right away. And no, Sessions didn't. Quit lying or buying liberal talking points. Sessions was asked under oath if he discussed the election with any foreign governments. Do you have any evidence his handshake involved discussing the election.
This is why your party is at its weakest point nationwide in over 100 years. You scream foul at the wind and pretend mentally ill people can really change their stripes.
You have the audacity to get worked up about Jewish cemeteries and blame Trump, but your party just appointed an openly anti Semitic, black nationalist as its number 2. No one who doesn't have their head shoved up their ass thinks your party has a single valid idea for moving forward. They're on fucking TV hand and hand with convicted felons and drug dealers, saying it's inhuman we're kicking them out for violating our laws. You never see a Democrat standing with the widow of a police officer who was killed by a gang banger, but they'll sure as shit drag out the mother of a gang banger shot by a cop.

I totally felt that backfired. Trump sat his pretty, spoiled daughter running her million dollar company using cheap foreign labor next to her. The girl hasn't worked a hard day in her life. Then there's the Seals wife, who sacrificed everything and had an emotional breakdown live. She looked like she was questioning if she was doing the right thing by attending. Ivanka looked clueless and didn't know at all what to do. Really, she got shoved aside. The moment was spiritual, and emotional, and shows the value and sacrifice of even 1 live lost.
Trump talks hard about invading the Middle East, invading North Korea etc. Big talk from a chump who got Billionaire's Deferments and who's adult son's are using Secret Service for their business travels (HINT: It's "optional" for adult offspring. Ronald Reagan Jr declined it).
