Casual gamers and families with younger kids can't be arsed to shell out $400 for a system ultimately designed to cater to hardcore gamers and home theater enthusiasts. I love my PS3, but the price point is the truth. Sony allowed for the reemergence of Microsoft and Nintendo as gaming contenders in the US by not having their shit together in time.
