That whole "groomer" thing is so fucking stupid, though. No, schools should not be pushing gender/queer stuff in the classroom no more than they should do so with religion. Especially when schools are failing. If you want to push a bill to outlaw it, make it bigot proof. Desantis made his bill just vague enough to appeal to the bigot scumbag conservatives will no doubt exploit it. Republicans had a golden opportunity, even gays and feminists were on board with them, and they went the groomer route -- equating gays with pedophilia. Ridiculousness.

The top trans surgeon in the world is now saying things need to slowdown. Particularly girls are seeing social/peer pressure to transition when they're not actually trans. Kids grow out of being a Tom boy. And that group has gotten way too powerful. I understand wanting that power, but there will be a backlash. Straight people are now identifying as queer... It's now A fashion statement. On top of the prison thing, two highs hook girls have been raped in their school bathroom by "nonbinary boys" in skirts.

A lot of doctors are going to be facing lawsuits in the near future for detransitions. Democrats and Biden won't be unscathed in this either if they keep defending the indefensible. You don't need to be a biologist to define what a woman is.

Even if you think it's off 10 points, it is a nightmare scenario for Democrats."

An Obama economist is saying we're headed for a recession in 2024 right at the next election. At this point, I wouldn't try to get Biden to bow out. Just let him take the loss, don't stain a good candidate.

Oh that’s easy….Donald Trumps behavior was revolting.

In my opinion he’s a great symbol of everything that’s wrong with this country. Someone with no real talent or skill at the top of the mountain.

A man who pays no taxes but allegedly is a brilliant business man. A man who hates socialism but uses the IRS and the tax code like a piggy bank.

You left out the part where he told his supporters not to vote (the mail in ballot stuff) which was one of dumbest things he's done.

I just don't get why the entire trans issue is a political issue.  It just seems trivial when compared to other pressing political issues facing this country.  How did we ever get to this where (maybe) social issues got turned into a politcal football anyway?  Both sides do this too so it's not like you can single out one party.

JFK and the entire Kennedy family were worse than Trump, and it's not even close. I would say it was a rejection of elitist politicians. I don't know how you explain why more Hispanics support him and he drew more Black votes than other republicans.

Biden has been a disaster. And had it not been for the Trump tax cut the economy wouldn't have rebounded the way it has. Biden has wanted to raise taxes since he's been in office, he's had the IRS audit more poor and working class families than all the years of Trump.

I'm still not convinced Trump could win again, though. He's just too awful and exhausting. Harris and Desantis are not the answer.

At least more than one person had a say in NY.

It’s unfortunate that we don’t respect each other enough to play the game fairly but we’re loooong past that point.

It’s one of the few things I’m glad the Democrats are doing…at least there won’t be another decade of completely fabricated Republican representation while the Democrats sit back and eat it again.
