Can an STP fan tell me what tracks to listen too? I heard them on the radio a lot recently and they have always been a band I wanted to check out but never did.

Core is an amazing album front to back, but singles off of it were "Sex Type Thing", "Plush" and "Creep"

the "No Memory"/"Sin" combo is fucking amazing and "crackerman", "dead and bloated" and "where the river goes" kick ass too

the purple album is really cool though they kinda strayed away from the grunge feel a bit the singles were "Big Empty", "Vasoline", "INterstate Love SOng" and "Pretty Penny"

"Lounge FLy" is a really trippy song with a great groove, "Still Remains" is a cool ballady type, "unglued" kinda rocks too

Tiny Music...Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop is my favorite STP album though i know alot of people felt their wheel fell off about this point, and i'm not sure what singles they had on it but i know "Big Bang baby" was one for sure

but "Press play" is an awesome intro to an album...but its a short instrumental, "Ride the Cliche" is cool, "Lady Picture Show", "Trippin on Hole in a Paper Heart", "Seven Caged Tigers"

No 4 had "Down", "Sour Girl", "Atlanta"

Shangri La Dee Da has "Dumb Love", "Days of the Week", "Wonderful", "Too COol Queeny", "Hollywood Bitch"

Thankyou is the Greatest Hits..and you cant go wrong with it...its a great representation of the band as a whole...a new track from it was "All in the Suit That You Wear" which is a great song

Anyway i'd be interested in your impression of them after you check out a few tunes BLS 22

STONE TEMPLE PILOTS: Quality Footage From Press Conference, Reunion Performance Available - Apr. 8, 2008

A nine-minute video clip featuring highlights from STONE TEMPLE PILOTS' April 7, 2008 press conference and performance at the former Hollywood Hills estate of magician Harry Houdini can be viewed below (courtesy of "mhp3"). The video includes exclusive live band footage from the event, including songs "Plush", "Vaseline", "Interstate Love Song" and interview soundbites from singer Scott Weiland. Also available is an MTV.com video interview with the band.

"This is home for us," guitarist Dean DeLeo told MTV.com after the band announced it would be heading out this summer on a full-fledged, 65-date reunion run. "I'm fond of our legacy, and I'm fond of our band '” I'm a fan. I get off when I'm riding down the highway and an STP track comes on the radio. I get off on that."

"The story's not finished," Scott Weiland told The Associated Press. "There's more to be revealed and more to be told."

Bassist Robert DeLeo said the band plans to record a new album after the tour, which is set to wrap in November.

"The whole record machine is fucked up now, so we really want to get to a place of having some freedom, because we have a lot of leverage," Weiland told MTV.com. "We have sold almost 40 million records, and we're in a position of power. We want to be free agents, whether it's putting our records out ourselves, or doing some interesting, very creative deal with a nontraditional major record label. The system as it is now ... that formula does not work. We've seen it; we'll need to do things differently, do things wiser."

According to Robert DeLeo, the band has already started crafting material, and he anticipates they'll probably end up writing 100 songs before tracking the effort. The band wouldn't comment on the record beyond that, according to MTV.com.

The band will make its first national TV appearance since reuniting on the May 1 edition of ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

Weiland was dismissed from VELVET REVOLVER last week, following his announcement that the group's just-completed European tour was its last and accusations of erratic behavior against him by the rest of the group.

That date's not even posted on STP's website yet.  This is friggin' sweet!
