Solos save a song sometimes... look at If the World...i only listen to those boring fuckin lyrics cuz at the end of it I get a solo, that is actually good, and by that time im in the mood for it too.. the dull song makes you want the solo, but the solo by itself is nothing special... its like a bad relationship.. great sex but you have to get there first..

I thought this was a really good article, it sucked a bit that they left out Izzy but otherwise it presented a well reasoned position on the name issue.

I've thought the same thing, the material is strong enough to stand on its own, Axl is famous enough, persisting in using the old name when the new incarnation is a very different beast from the old band doesn't add much benifit but does alienate a lot of people I think.
