Greatest concert I have ever attended.  Very cool venue, it was sold out.

Slash came on around 9:30

Abbey Road Recording was there, so I got the CD and it was only $20.

Set List

Ghost
Meanbone
Nighttrain
Sucker Train Blues
Back From Cali
Civil War (Voodoo Ending)
Rocket Queen
Begger and Hangerons
Do If For the Kids
Doctor Alibi with Todd Kerns on vocals (Todd did awesome on this)
Watch This
Starlight
Just like Anything
Solo/Blues Jam
Godfather
Sweet Child O'mine (Star Spangled Banner ending)
Rise Today
Slither

Encore:
By the Sword
My Michelle
Paradise City

Myles has the most amazing voice, for the first time ever I saw Slash do a sweep picking lick, I think it was either on the Godfather or PC, I will listen to the audio again to find it.  Its amazing how high of a level he is playing right now.

What an affordable concert as well, a CD from the show for only $20, and the opening band was very good.  What more can you ask for.  Blown away.

Dr. Alibi was OK. The band played it perfectly and Todd Kerns sings much better than Duff. A good song to keep the show alive till the singer is away. big_smile

But the Blues Jam was INSANE! Blues is Slash's home, I can't tell it better. It was so natural, so... perfect. Somewhere the parts reminded me of Since I've Been Loving You. When I heard that Slash had been listening a lot of old blues during the Libertad sessions, I was really pumped - but he did not show it on the record. I also had high expectations when he started to write his solo album. Well, some  bluesy ideas were there, at least. But I'm still waiting for a really spontenous and bluesy record from him, like Mother Maria or this Blues Jam. Bring it on 21
