Re: Prince Discussion

I love that tune! Such a cool laid back vibe with a good guitar and 80s synth rhythm in between. Not a big fan of Prince; but I dig some of his early 80s material and the performances when he really gets into his guitar playing and musicianship with synthesizers and other equipment. Less on the dance beats. Just my preference. Saw a cheap copy of Purple Rain at Best Buy the other day. Hoping to pick it up soon.

Re: Prince Discussion

Thanks for the suggestions fellas! I will look into it. I tried to look up that joy N repetition song on youtube; but no one has seemed to post it with the audio at the moment. Well the man's is taken down from Youtube. So I guess I will check it out on Spotify later on. I think I'll start with Purple Rain since I've listened to most of that and other Prince tracks from friends, Spotify, and radio. Also people have said it's the best album to start getting into if you aren't already a fan. Plus the CD was like $5 and it's a top rated album/movie soundtrack. I can't beat that kind of deal. 9

U can't go wrong with Sign O The Times album.

I love Gold Experience and Emancipation, his strongest Symbol albums.

Rave as Russ said is a great album:
So Far So Pleased with Gwen Stefani
Man o War
I Love You But I don't trust You Anymore is heartbreaking
Wherever you go Whatever you do
greatest Romance Ever sold.

Album is very underrated and great.

Earlier albums:
Controversy
Dirty mind
1999
Purple Rain
Sign O The Times
I love Under the Cherry The Moon Parade album
Graffiti Bridge has a song "Still would stand all time" that needs to be heard.

My two favorite Love songs making love having sex songs:
Adore from Sign O The Times  and "Insatiable" from Diamonds And Pearls album which is also another great album.

The symbol album: My Name is Prince, Sexy Motherfucker, Love 2 the 9's, Damn U, Blue Light, Morning Papers, The Continental is my FUCKING SONG.  Sweet Baby, Three Chains of Gold, I can go on and on... also has the song "7" on it.
