Josh Freese and Brain are good but for GNR both pale in comparison to Sorum. If it isn’t Adler, then Sorum is the answer. You guys don’t appreciate how good he is.

Freese & Brain would be laughable. Might as well keep Frank. Secondly, why the AFD 5 depictions, then use some near unheard of drummers the non-hardcore fans would know?

Adler, or Sorum. Otherwise Frank. But really all that becomes is the NITL lineup plus Izzy. Not sure how well they can re-tour with that 2 years after people saw them.

You say Remaster

You mean Re-Arranging. Or Remix.

That's the million dollar question.

Will the remaster just be the original mixes mastered with new toys to make them loud.

Or will there be some altering to the original mixes.

Or will there be some additional performances added.

Will this be the George Lucas special edition A New Hope of GNR?

I remember a while back either in chats or interviews Axl mentioned there were aspects of the original AFD production that he didn't like - related to how things were done back in the day....

So will this just be a remaster...or will there be changes?

Seriously, if I do not come to Brazil, freight and customs taxes will kill me.

That's why it makes more sense to do a base 2-CD, as the $15-20 Deluxe Edition.

CD 1 is the original AFD, Re-mastered. All original 12 songs. Let the 2nd disc (like Pearl Jam's Ten remaster) be the new one (or was it the other way around?). Anyways, one of the discs should be the remixed album. Featuring remixes, Shadow of Your Love 2018, or whatever new stuff they might want to feature. Whether it's Izzy in-studio, Melissa harmonies and synth, or Frank sweetening the drums.

Personally, i'm curious just to hear fresh takes with the current band... just for fun. Just to do a 2018 take.

But the ORIGINAL Appetite with THE ORIGINAL guys, untouched, just remastered is a MUST. The album is a masterpiece. It just needs a fresh coat of paint 30 years later. The car and it's engine should remain the same. Save the remixes for the bonus discs.

This is the stuff i'm interested in. Subtracted 49 from 73 = 24. So apparently 24 songs have previously been released. 12 songs on AFD x 2?

Makes me wonder if one disc is AFD (original mix), one disc is AFD (2018 remaster).

I'm guessing among those 25 unreleased tracks will be demos & remixes.

The better question now that Live Like A Suicide is included, will GN'R Lies, or select songs off GN'R Lies (everything but OIAM), be included as well as basically a chronicle of the entire era from 1985-1990 with the original/classic 5 members?
