I think it suggests that actually Slash and Duff may be the only one's who do talk to him about this stuff.

This is the third time this has happened now

Love To Love was just Slash until Axl heard he was doing it and showed interest, the Sabbath show and this were originally just billed as Slash and Duff too.

Either people are not asking because they assume it will be a no........ Or they are asking, and the protective net around Axl just isn't passing it on.
