What's amazing is that the Illusion albums did half of AFD's numbers, yet are not near as respected.
There's artists out there that NEVER had an album go 7x platinum. GN'R have two, AND one with 18x plat.
Damn.
Plus who in the fuck other than GN'R has an EP that goes 5x? AN EP! A platinum COVERS album.
When you see this stuff, you know CD will do major bank on the GN'R name alone.

In reality the Illusions are a double album. So technically it's around 14 million sold, and I wouldn't be surprised if that is lowballed as well. Probably more in the 16-18 million range at this point.
