At first I hated this song and thought it sounded very "emo", not "emo" in the derogatory way, but the beginning sounded to me like that genre of music. Once those strings kick in and the song gets going though it totally redeems itself. It's grown on me a lot just over a day.

having said that ^^ the drums on this song suck so bad. Almost to the point of ruining the song. They definately ruin the sublime outro.
That's pretty funny, 'cause the drums are my favorite part of the outro. Reminds me so much of Brain's drumming on Buckethead's "Colma". Good times. I actually hear quite a bit of "Colma" in this song.

So they just love Axl and his past Rio performances so much they have chosen to use him as a symbol for the overall event regardless if he participates? I can live with that.

Do they still play Wonder Years on any channels? I used to watch it on Nick at Night or TV Land or something all the time when I was younger. I haven't seen it in years.

Is it legal to use his likeness without his consent to promote like this? If it isn't, why would Axl consent to it without performing. If it is, why would RIR use his image to promote if he's not going to be there?

I agree that the a should be capitalized. Then again I always capitalize every word in a title.

This reminds me of a story I read recently about a guy who decided to test Virginia's "open carry" law with firearms. Of course, this person actually HAD a gun and not an MP3 player.

he smokes an occasional cigar, but i think it was in the NY Times article where its been said that studio personnel were not allowed to smoke cigarettes....
I was actually referring to the 06 tour, I think it was when he bit the security guard's leg. Something was written about him enjoying a cigarette at dinner or something.
