I agree. His voice just gives the (already great) music that extra bit of sleaze that i love!
I think Hanoi Rocks are pretty underated, especially if you consider the influence they have had on alot of other bands.
I was meant to go and see them tonight but my lift backed out on me last minute, leaving me no time to sprt out another way to get there sad

2. Skid Row
3. Tie between Hanoi Rocks and Aerosmith

#7 Re: The Sunset Strip » Has a Song ever made you cry? which one, when and why? » 847 weeks ago

GNR Estranged, Dont Cry, November Rain, Patience, The Blues, Coma
Skid Row Wasted Time (I cant even listen to this one anymore, which is a shame)
Jeff Buckley Hallelujah
Don McLean Vincent

I think it was either the timing of the songs or links they have to certain times that werent that great and people ive grown apart from who really meant something to me. I dont cry everytime I listen to those songs though.

I didnt understnad that line either until about 3 weeks ago when I randomly happened to look at the lyrics. I just used to mumble along anything when singing along to it lol

I got this book for Christmas and I have read it and flicked through it many times since. Its the most informative GNR I have bought and would definatley recomend it. I liked how it showed the relationships between members of the band and growth of the band in the early stages.
I've briefly looked at the picture and audio and video clips online and they seem pretty good. Took me ages to relise I had to register the code in my book to get access to the online stuff though!

The book is availiable on amazon:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Reckless-Road-M … 0979341876

http://www.amazon.com/Reckless-Road-Mak … 0979341876

And at the reckless road website if any one is still interested in buying a copy smile

If you live in the UK I think it would probably be quicker for you to order it off amazon because it took my copy 3 months after the origional date given to be shipped over to me!
