Poor people can stream just as easily as they can download. While you're downloading Bucket's new album on piratebay, I'm already almost finished streaming it on youtube......for free.

I thought you were talking about payed streaming. Like Netflix, Amazon, Apple and others.
Hopefully people will still want to actually own the products they use in the future, otherwise they'll be paying rent for their lives.

Downloading from torrents or sites like megaupload is verging on extinction. It's not even convenient anymore like it used to be. You can stream something quicker than it takes to get the torrent link and you also don't need to risk getting any viruses on your pc or phone.

I still use torrents once in a blue moon and I notice how few seeders there are compared to a few years ago.

Don't quite agree with you there.
As long as there will be poor people piracy will find a way.
Thank's to the internet everyone wants to see/hear the 'it' think right when it's happening.
And if you can't afford it you pirate it.
It won't die that fast.

The funny thing about streaming, though, is that you pay for music/movies but you don't actually own them 16
Good business idea 22

Ha, that's kinda like how it went for me.
In 2001 i was going to Lost Rose and there was another site i can't remember, i think it was a slash fan site.
Read HTGTH for 2-3 years before i finally registered at the end of 2004.
Then the 'censorship' period started there and i followed the nice people to Roses of Velvet that turned into GnrEvo.

I just like the song, i'm not an Elton fan.
I haven't got around to listening to his discog, i know Axl is a big fan.

since you said one track i'll pick Breakdown.
but Locomotive, Don't Damn Me, Garden of Eden and The Garden are great contenders

Yeah but it was three fairly important gigs! Like your 20+ year reunion that the world has been waiting for, and then headlining one of the most successful festivals in the world.

Doesn't seem like the kinda shows you should just ease your way into as a band!

It doesn't change the fact that it's the first three shows, no matter how important or how much money you throw at it.
You can't buy experience, and that comes from playing gigs together.

the conspirators have been playing together for years and probably rehearsing a whole lot.
the rock hall of fame, anybody can pull off a couple of songs for one night only.
plus, i bet that axl wasn't at many of those rehearsals with gnr.
