One album every six months for two years. Plus lots of touring and promotion.

Then the original band can get back together. Then, in a bizarre 'Heaven and Hell' scenario, the new gnr reunite. Cool!

One album period is asking alot at this point.

Well, speaking in these terms, I think Axl needs to get hard first.  16

This probably deserves another thread, but what is the current band's course?  Also, what do you mean by current band?

I agree with this in theory, but reading it made me think this over.  Is their current course one album?  Is it touring until there's a reunion?  Is it releasing several albums?  They can't seem to get one album out for whatever reason, so expecting several is unrealistic.  Are they done after CD and a tour supporting it?  Will there be another silent period after that? .

Personally, I think they're done after CD (if it ever comes out).  I don't see any reason to continue beyond that with everything it took just to get to that point.

I've thought about this myself lately and I agree with you. I see this effort as being more of a collaboration or a project alot more than I see them being an actual "band", at least in the traditional sense of the word "band". That's not a diss either. I used to be really against Axl releasing the album under the GN'R banner with these guys, but it really doesn't bother me like that anymore. I see them releasing the albums (if there's really that much material) either altogether or over the course of a couple years. After that, I see these guys disbanding. Regardless of what some believe I think sometime in the future we'll see a reunion and I honestly don't mind waiting awhile for it. I think the bigger question is will Axl ever actually release this album of his.

looking forward to it so you can tell us how much it sucks without Slash? http://www.misterspunky.com/faces/tea.gif

you aren't fooling anyone.    its no secret that you do not like this band, yet you come here and on othe boards and harass their fans on a daily basis.

You really want to talk about harassing fans ? How many aliases have you had on mygnr ? How many times has Maddy shit canned your ass over there ? 16

Dude, you diss on Slash, Duff and the other original Guns constantly. Every time someone says in Dead Horse at htgth that they want a reunion you jump in and tell them to "fuck off with their stupid shit."

So believe me bro, you are the one who isn't fooling anybody. I've said that I look forward to Chinese D, You have consistently maintained that you have zero interest in VR or a reunion, yet you post in the VR section and Dead Horse all the time at htgth. So don't be handing me your song and dance about harassing fans. roll

you don't have to say it.   you come into every thread and remind us of how bad you want a reunion every chance you get and on every board you post.  you are known as a troll, i'm not insulting you, thats just the way people see you.   you never have anything positive to say about GN'R.

Get a grip, homey.

I said multiple times yesterday that I look forward to hearing Chinese D. I'm just honestly not convinced that day will ever come.

All I said was I wasn't impressed with Baz's new songs and some of you Axlites started freaking out. They're not that good, but that's just my opinion. That doesn't mean that you can't go out and buy the album just because I don't care for it. You don't like VR but that didn't stop me from listening to them.

As for being a "troll", how about questioning your own motives, say in the VR section of htgth. How many times has Falcon had to chew your ass for , what's it called ..... oh yea, being a troll.  22

Finally in regard to the BBA vs JB disputes....i mean its basicly that you guys like two different bands, that have 1 member in common, and both use the same name. That was always the problem with keeping the name.

I've been a GN'R fan since 1991.  I'm just past the old lineup and don't see a need to make any changes to it now or bring back 1991. http://www.misterspunky.com/faces/tea.gif

I never said that I don't like Axl's new band. I'm not being bias specifically towards them, I always prefer the actual bands to those who just cover their songs.

I live near a club that has cover bands every Friday night. I saw a Motley Crue and a Queensryche cover band recently, but I didn't prefer them over the real bands either.

Just because I prefer the original band doesn't mean that I'm stuck in the past. Like I said, some people just spend too much time on websites that don't allow an alternate opinion. (htgth).

Excuse my ignorance, but when has Mysteron been officially confirmed as a GNR liaison? I mean, GNR never mentioned anything about the album, some guy on the internet claiming to be part of the GNR camp has, but what does that mean?

Exactly, Mole.

Jarmo spent the entire year telling everyone that the album was coming out in 2007. He dissed everyone who dared to disagree with him, and alot of people consider him an "insider" of some kind.

^ It would be extremely stupid for a record company to release an album without the proper promotion Singles, Videos, Interviews, Concerts ect.....

We don't know how long the label has had the album, if its recent then it'll still take maybe a few months planning, then promoting.

Demands also have to be met on both sides, such as money and conditions, its been along time since Axl willing released an album, so this will be slightly new to him, given his own and others expectations as to what they all want.

You don't know if the record company has this album at all. Mysteron never stated that. He was just vague as usual and said that "the record company is the hold up." That could mean alot of things, or it could be just another excuse altogether.
