I am a really big fan of the village version. The others have way too much going on

Were Bring it Back Home and Too Much Too Fast ever in the running to be released. I know they are not very good but they could have been B sides. They are IMO, better than Shotgun Blues, GITR, and So Fine. I remember on MyGNR I asked Marc Canter about them and he said that he never heard those two songs before and that Slash does not play on them. I know they are West songs but three songs from that tape got put out. Also I remember in the Drunk Fox show in 88 Axl said they recorded or were going to record Yesterdays. So this raises the question of why wasn't that recording on the AFD/Lies Boxset. Also I wonder if there is an acoustic Don't Cry.

I always liked the Madagascar vocals idk but I can see why people don't. Village is the best version. Also this was an odd song to do at the VMAs I think Chinese Democracy would have been better.

They mightttttt play Hard School though Axl sounded like he was going to die during that rehearsal. I could see Pretty Tied Up being played as that was also rehearsed and not that hard too sing. Think About You too because they also rehearsed that in Miami. But no, I think the set will stay mostly the same with maybe one or two rotating UYI deep cut. One song they should play is Bad Obsession, very easy to sing but they just refuse and play So Fine instead lol.

It is an okay song. Every version of the song is fine though I will say the 2003 version is the best. I always liked Axl's vocals on this song but the lyrics are very cringey. This probably would have been a better song to play live than Rhiad in 2002 (As would a lot of others due to Rhiad's vocals always not being good live IMO).

The Village session demo is very good IMO. The album version is awful. BBF should have never been allowed to play on the album. Like every released song on CD it has way too much going on.

The intro is way too long. I am also not a fan of Ron's guitar on any CD song really. I like his solo stuff but most of the songs were pretty packed without him, that adding him made them way too cluttered. My favorite version of CD is the Rough Mix CD 1 version, then the 2007/08 leak. I think the perfect version would be the 2003 version.
I think the final version is ok it would be way better without the intro (and without hearing any of the earlier versions). The song lost a lot of punch going from the 2001 version to the 07/08 leaks and then to the final version, as did every song on the album.
In 99-03 the song could have been a pretty good single but by 08 the song was pretty much gone.
