Should I worry about a hurricane after it hits my home?

What negotiation? How are they going to pay for it? They already said slashing entitlements is the only way.

When there's a hurricane predicted by a meteorologist to hit your house, sure.  Right now you're sitting around with no meteorology knowledge or experience predicting a hurricane hitting your house though, and that's idiotic.

I don't get why you guys keep worrying about things that haven't happened yet.  Some entitlements should go away, sor no problems with that, but you guys are already panicking about stuff that's not going to happen.  If they make significant cuts to medicare or SS, they are shooting themselves in the foot.  It's not going to happen.

Remember how the game is played. Shoot for the moon so you get what you really want when you negotiate it down.

Okay, then you have nothing to complain about. Have a nice day.

Back here in reality, we know this is headed to slaughtering the social safety net, and that's not going to fly.

Right, so why are you worried about it?

This isn't a personal attack on you buzz, but this type of individualistic thinking is the reason our society is starting to fail, it's an absolute sickness in our culture.

No, this is understanding that we're already there.  We've been there for a while actually. There are others way ahead of me in figuring that out.  The idealistic world that a lot of you seek will never exist.  The employees he thinks love him would sell him out in a second if they thought they could get ahead.

I don't like that statement, but I accept it as reality. To get by in this world you need to understand what's going on around you and how you can use whatever that is to your advantage.

I think we're playing the same game we've always been playing.  You just don't seem to like the rewards as much in this version.

I don't care that companies are getting a bigger tax break.  I think that's fantastic.  It may not help the little guy, but it sure the fuck helps skilled people like me.  I don't understand why it matters what others are getting; worry about yourself because I promise you nobody else is worried about you...including your great democratic leaders you admire so much.  I know people that do my job make more money than I do and perform worse than I do.  I don't care.  I am good with where I am at.  If they go around looking to get rid of people, there's a long list before me.

Corporations owe you nothing unless you're a stockholder.  Nothing.  Get that through your skull.  They don't have to pay more because they are making more.  They don't have to do anything because they are making more other than keep trying to make even more.

Buzz, stick to the issues that matter.  The lack of details & transparency this past week.

How are they gonna wrap this all up in 2 years when we were revealed very little about Snoke & Rey?  I mean, this is gonna be an atrocity in 2019 unless they pull a rabbit outta their hat with the info we're demanding. Flaggs so busy researching this on youtube he can't even keep up.

JJ will figure it all out.  JJs are pretty smart.

So much rage...

It’s not my job to explain this to you...it’s not my job to show you where you’re losing. If you’re truly as smart as you think you are...you wouldn’t be so fired up.

I’ll tell you one thing though...i hate that word ‘entitlement.’ Another buzzword that has close to no meaning.

I'm losing nothing dude.  I'm not even fired up, I just don't get why you are.  $4K doesn't get me excited since my bonus is more than that, but it's better than not getting it.  The imaginary cost you're referring to is nothing but democratic fear mongering.  The joke's on you like usual.

Welcome to junior high.  I guess whoever used the n word earlier in this thread shouldn't have been criticized after all.  My bad.  I guess if you're going to think liek a 12 year old, you may as well talk like one too.

It's time all of you grew up.  You've been in this thread and the other one for years fighting among yourselves and refusing to listen to any voice of reason.  Both sides are fucking you in the ass and you're just begging for more from the side you support.  I tried to bring that down to your level so you could understand it...  We're all screwed until people start to understand that both sides are playing us all and if you think otherwise, you're just as stupid as the people you keep arguing with because you think they are stupid.

I'm allowed to say it, I'm a honky.

Uh, no, you're the one who doesn't listen. There have been various topics where we all find common ground and times we're at each others throat. It's because we care.

No, it's because you don't know what you don't know but think you do.  That's the truth.

This tax break is just fine for me.  I'll save about $4K.  I can take an extra vacation with that.  I don't care if companies make more money; that's what they exist to do.

If you're unhappy about your place in the world, change your place.  Do something about it.  Every single person here has the opportunity to have a better life.  I'm so tired of the excuses.  I grew up with gangs.  My parents weren't together half of my childhood and were miserable when they were.  5 people survived on 20K annually that my dad used to make.  You can overcome all of these things people complain about short of being caught in a crossfire as an innocent bystander.  If you want to be in a better place, get to a better place; stop holding it against other people that are either smart enough or put in the effort to get there.
