Why's Guiliani involved in this?
He is NOT a government employee or WH appointee. He asks Zarevesky speak to Guiliani at a later time.
No wonder Obama made the decision to wiretap. This guys out there makin deals off the record

I read it. It's damning. He asked a foreign nation to work with his private personal lawyer to dig up dirt on his political opponent.

Wow, its over.
This is worse than Nixon. He asked his personal lawyer, Guiliani, AND AG Barr to assist in working with Ukraine on specifically the Biden investigation.

Interesting if true. (She's a cnn wh reporter, so may have some insight/tips)
Despite his public defiance, Trump is not welcoming the impeachment fight, people say. He phoned Pelosi yesterday to discuss the whistleblower's complaint and was hoping he could de-escalate things. He later said he couldn't believe it when she made her announcement.

Mehh, it's alright. Kinda bad, like a 91-93 RHCP ripoff band. I don't see it working. At all. Needs Axl's vocals for it to be Guns, but I'm not feelin it

That infamous 2005 article went into those aspects of the saga and they weren't kind to say the least.
Those are valid points to take into consideration....but..."this won't sell"....I don't see why not. The 99-00 sessions are literally running the gamut of 90s trends.
Sorry, I wasn't saying I didn't think it would sell, I was saying the 'label' maybe wasn't only saying that (ie. IMHO there were money/contract issues as well).
I think it woulda sold ok at the time, not put GnR back on top of the charts, but decent. Wish Axl & VR had a better battle. I think CD mighta been panned a bit, but looked back now as a better album than they received credit for

Edit
Oh yeah. You're the one whose holy Grail is the rerecorded AFD tracks.
Now I get it.
lol.
I suppose it'd be somewhat interesting to hear, but in the end it'd sound like AFD or a live version. Was there ever talk if the AFD is sorta a reboot, like a newer/different sound? Otherwise, my hunch is it'd be underwhelming. This version just sounds like a pretty good cover band playing it, without the vocals. Not much to it as far as value of it. I wouldn't trade ish for it.

One thing I think alot of us are forgetting is money. TBH I'd forgotten about it until someone posted a link to a post from about 12 years ago here. I think there was a scenario, which I believe to be true, where Axl was fronted tons of money, yet wanted to renogotiate his contract, since he blew thru the money he was fronted. And the record company drew a line in the sand, and said 'No'.
IMHO belief, Axl was given a few million (guessing here) $2 million, then it was up to $5, then $10, then $13, then the label dumped it with little promotion. I'd guess around 2002, there was 5-7 mil invested, and it was gone. Label said no more, Axl wanted to be paid upon release, hence a standoff where Axl 'somewhat refused' to deliver it until the received a reworking of his payday (2nd payday, since they already fronted him). Label prolly said nope, make your money up on tours and radio play royalties.
Anyway, I think we're selling the record companies a bit short by saying Axl handed in this gem of an album and bonehead record company execs said "Nope, this won't sell. It's all about STP, RHCP, Limp Bizkit nowadays".
Feel free to disagree, but there's a bit more to it in my mind.

What are you talking about? Democrats and their allies have sued every time Trump farts. They’ve been overruled on nearly every suit, but they enjoy delaying legal processes.
What suit is Trump launching that is against the “government” and is a new crisis. I’m genuinely asking in case I miss something.
Trump is suing the NY DA for requesting past tax returns due to a state investigation. Something every elected President since Nixon exited in disgrace has done. "The most transparent president in history" lol, lie.
Not sure why he's challenging it, I'm not a lawyer but I believe part of the DOJ opinion is that since a president can pardon themself there's little use in charging them, although trump can't pardon himself of a state crime. Besides, what's he hiding. He's the one who pushed for Obama's birth certificate and questioned what Obama's hiding!?
