Pretty mixed performance so far, sometimes sounds good sometimes pretty terrible.  How much is shit sound and how much is shit performance I guess we'll wait and see.

It's fucken wet though isn't it!!!  They are sloshing through water as they walk accross the stage.  Hope nobody gets electrocuted.

Yeah, I'm having a beer too. It's public holiday here in Australia, and besides, we're all here in the gnrevolution loungeroom, hanging together... 5

Hmm not here in WA it's not thanks to fucken CHOGM they moved ours.  I'm sitting here at work with the stream going but feel like pulling stumps and going home anyhow.

WTF!

Fucken women and dating used to do my head in.

If she has gone for a 55 year old I'm guessing she's gold digging or has major issues and is looking for a father figure or something.

Nice way to tell you too via email. Gutless that is.

My Dad works here in a local branch of Centrelink. Basically they are the government department where people go to apply for all the welfare benefits provided by the government. Man some of the stories he tells are bloody funny, except for the fact it's my taxes that are being squandered.

Don't get me wrong a government safety net is extremely important and I don't at all begrudge many people getting it.  But we seem to have a heap of "middle-class welfare" in this country as well as people that simply rort the system and don't want to help themselves.

One funny story my dad told me the other day was some woman came in wanting an emergency payment for something. She had already had one and she had also missed compulsory job seeking appointments and not submitted forms and some other shit. Anyhow when she realized she wasn't getting anything she stood in the middle of the centre, in front of everyone and yelled at the top of her voice "I suppose I'll have to go and sell my cunt then to get some money".

Sadly those type of people aren't only Norwegians. The sense of entitlement some people here in oz seem to have regarding welfare and how it's the job of the government to provide is unbelievable. They do nothing to help themselves, they also always seem to have money for alcohol, cigarettes, iPhone etc etc.

Maybe Axl just needs a good root to loosen himself up a bit. I know when I still lived at home with my mum it was harder to pick up chicks compared to when I moved out into my own pad. 16

At the risk of sounding too philosophical...You forgive someone for your own benefit not theirs.  Forgiving Slash et al for whatever the fuck Axl has an issue about does not mean he is letting Slash off the hook too easily for whatever he is supposed to have done.  It's as much about freeing Axl up of the burden of this shit and animosity that he is clearly still carring around with him.

That shit is bad, it eats you up.  I mean seriously who can be bothered keeping track this far down the line of who said what, did what.  Fuck it, just give it up and let it go, you'll be more at peace with yourself if you can do that.  You might then be able to replace the pettiness you hold in your life with something more positve.

^ Amen!  As I tell my wife, if you have a problem just come straight out and tell me right now so we can deal with it and then move on.  There is nothing worse than the same old scenario:

"What's wrong"?

"Nothing"!  (said in a tone that clearly tells you otherwise followed by shithouse behaviour).

Eventually it comes out that there was something wrong.  Well if there's something wrong I wanna get it out straight away, not in half an hour, half a day or the next day.  Let's deal with it NOW so we can move on and it doesn't fuck up the rest of the day.  Nothing pisses me off more than that.

DCK I'm with you, if you make a comittment to someone then you keep it.  I was taught that from a young age with some tough lessons.  It works the same if you are invited somewhere, if you accept you go, even if a better offer came along after you had already accepted.  Generally you should still go as you made the commitment.
