I disagree with James, I think the Palin pick was a mortal blow to the McCain campaign. Sure it helped in the short term and his numbers got a boost but over time, when voters actually started to find out who she was, they were very turned off by her. People realized how unprepared she was to possibly be president and that made the McCain ticket even more risky than the "inexperienced" Obama one.

They said Obama won 91% of the black vote in PA. Although, in the interest of full disclosure John Kerry won 88% of the black vote. So it isn't really that they voted for him because he is black. It probably has more to do with Republicans not having much of a platform that appeals to blacks and not ever giving them much reason to vote Republican.
plus, think about how many people vote against obama because he is black.

Do you know why this country is filled with lazy asses? Because if they know anything about the system, they don't have to do anything and we will take care of them. Screw that. Get up off your lazy ass and get a job or go to school. Make yourself a contributing member of society instead of leeching off of those that actually work hard for a living. If you still fail after all of that AND keep trying to improve your situation, we'll help you out. Otherwise, good luck and let us know when you're ready to contribute again and in return you can go back to a better lifestyle. No more welfare for those that haven't earned it. No more baby factories so they don't have to do anything...we're nothing but a country of enablers.
It's funny you look at it like that. Most people that are on these welfare and unemployment programs are people that have gone to school an/or have been laid off from a decent job. Just because you have an education, it doesn't guarantee you a good job. The job market is so dry these days, many people that even have jobs are still having trouble putting food on the table. It just goes to show you how bad of shape we are in right now when people that are ready, willing, and able to find work can't even be employed. Sure there are some people who abuse the social welfare programs we have but eliminating that problem will have little to no effect on the situation as a whole. We need to create jobs so these unemployed workers can find work.

If you have to, pick a track you've already heard in some form. I listened to the beginning in CITR and Scraped and I must say, I am foaming at the mouth for more. I'm even more excited for the album now and glad that I didn't cave in further.

hopefully once the album is out, radio stations will play more than just CD off it. I know that when Death Magnetic came out, WRIF had various songs from that album in heavy rotation for awhile.

Me too. I listen to the CD single but that's it.
I posted earlier that I did listen to the intro to Street of Dreams out of curiosity but that's it.
yea, I still listen to the CD single and maybe sprinkle a live version of a song in there every now and then too.
Ok, last night I broke down and got some links but I only listened to the intro of CITR and Scraped. I already have deleted the files from my computer so I won't be temped anymore.
