I say both guys, cuz between the two of them niether would bend to the other's "vision" Axl wanted trendy, Slash wanted Snakepit...The Gilby/Paul thing, i htink Slash wanted Gilby, Axl wanted Paul, the Whole studio recording stuff....Axl wanted solo sessions, Slash wanted Group Sessions. I do think Axl developed a "God Complex" ... I mean to the rock scene he was god at the time
2. Do you want a reunion before Chinese Democracy-all original members only?

3. What is holding up Chinese Democracy?
a. Axl's perfectionism or his inability to finish the job
b. Business Matters
c. Axl is not happy with the material
I dont think Axl ever disliked the material, I think it may have been more on the Label's shoulders that one. but we'll never know for certain. As for perfectionism...well he has to come close to (or even better) the orig GnR...i'd be certain the material was A+ too, on the other hand the inability to finish a job, well its art right? doesnt work on a timeframe, based on what we know its safe to assume there were peiods of everywaking moment in the studio to dead time for a year or more, we'll never know the circumstances....and these days? Buisness matters, i've been saying that one since December 06. see DTJ's post about management in the other thread...its says it all IMO

5. Assume Chinese is a smashing success, after all the current material is released, would you still want a reunion of the original band?

Eventually i'd like a reunion, yeah sure, who wouldn't, but i'd like to see the current band run its course, i think they have real potential

Has anyone even considered that since we have heard Management issues being thrown out that maybe Universal want's Management to be handled in a certain way that Axl and co. may not want. Course this is all speculation considereing the always vague Mysteron, the only real thing you can take as fact from his statement is that Uni has something to do with it not coming out as far as what, it's anyone's guess.

THE CANADIAN PRESSSUDBURY, Ont. '” A newborn snatched from a Sudbury hospital was back where she belonged late Thursday, ending a day-long Amber Alert that had authorities across the province looking for the child.
The baby girl appeared healthy but was examined by doctors as a precaution before being reunited with her parents, police said. A 19-year-old woman accused of taking the day-old child was arrested in the home where the baby was recovered in Kirkland Lake, a five-hour drive from Sudbury.
Police said late Thursday they expected to charge the woman with abduction. Police issued an Amber Alert for the newborn shortly after she was reported missing from the St. Joseph's Health Centre site of Sudbury Regional Hospital at about 1 p.m. An Amber Alert is issued when police believe a child has been abducted and may be in danger. Sudbury police held a news conference Thursday afternoon and expressed concern about the woman's psychological state.
Police also released an image from a hospital surveillance camera showing the unidentified woman carrying what appeared to be a swaddled infant. The suspect was apparently wearing white hospital scrubs, and police said that pointed to a premeditated decision.
About 100 police officers were posted along highways leading out of Sudbury, and they were searching all vehicles for the suspect and infant.
Local transit services were delayed as police searched across the city for the suspect. The hospital called police and stepped up security after the baby was reported missing.

i dunno i could be wrong, i dont have an account with billboard so i looked at an old article from blabbermouth....i think Ozzy sold like 150,000 or something first week and that was alot (Like #2 or 3)
anyway i doubt this album makes the top 100 .... who knows though all the GnR fans may rally and boost some artificial sales for Baz and make him feel good
I doubt i'll buy it, i'd have to check out some actually album cuts first to see what its like 
Stuck inside is cool...dont dig the baz only liabs...and the aerosmith cover is neither here nor there for me.
Like i said i'd be the guy who dl's first and maybe buys later...depending
but to JB....i do wanna hear what axl does to that last track...see if he elevates it, i imagine he will

megadeth's newest album sold 42,000 first week or something....you think that Baz will top them?
and libertad sold like 92,000 copies first week
I's say your being very optimistic, maybe 20,000-30,000
