Whoa snarky Axl interaction with the crowd!

Yeah, didn't really care for that DJ solo. Axl sounded fine. I wish I caught the beginning of this show as I only just started tuning in

Breaking out Estranged after a pretty good version of Sweet Child O Mine.

To be honest, I see flaws in every team except for GB. The Lions have been a pleasant suprise. I think they beat the Cowboys next week. I still don't know why the Pats haven't used a higher draft pick on a DE/OLB. It's not like they don't have any extras around.
AFC is a clusterfuck to be honest. PIT has major o line issues. Oakland can't pass. Houston routinely chokes in big games. Same with SD. BAL is old in the secondary. Sanchez is inconsistent for the Jets.
Can Phily overcome the lack of LB and S and Vick getting hurt? I don't know. If TB can't get the offense in shape, I think they could make the playoffs and get on a run. I have zero confidence that the NFC West winner will win more than one game. NO has to figure out it's defensive problems.
I really wish Kenny Britt hadn't gotten injured, as this makes the road to the AFC South title a bit harder. Still it's nice to have an actual QB who can make plays in the fourth quarter. They still have a chance though I don't see them doing anything if they get there. The pass rush stinks and the running game is awful right now.
The next two weeks should give us a glimpse on who will lead the pack in the "Suck for Luck" sweepstakes. Chiefs play the Vikings this week. Colts play the Chiefs in week 5.
Denver and Miami are lurking in the weeds in case one of the two teams gets on a hot streak. I wouldn't automatically eliminate the Seahawks either.

Bret just shows up whenever there is RAW/Smackdown in Canada. The more important point I think they've almost killed the momentum that CM Punk had in the summer months.
He is still over with the crowd but the character seems different. Putting him with a heat killer like HHH doesn't help. At some point, you know one of the Mchmahons will show up and hog up more tv time. They definitely screwed the pooch on this one.
Ratings were shit too when going up against MNF.

That's funny, my suicide league I had the Browns to beat the Bengals... also ended poorly for me. Week 1 was full of surprises as it always is. I thought the Bills would win but didn't see the blowout coming at all, that was a shock. St. Louis and the Chiefs are in big trouble, and obviously Indy needs Peyton pretty bad. Also didn't think Chicago would be so dominant against Atlanta.
I picked the Browns too. That pissed me off when they lost. In a suicide points league, I picked the Cards and am still alive for that one.
The sad part about Romo is he plays really well game in and game out and puts up pretty awesome numbers BUT when it matters most he fucks up. Now he's not all to blame cause the special teams did allow the Jets to block that punt and return it for a touchdown but had Romo not fumbled the ball on the Jets 1 yard line the Cowboys win that game. Had Romo not thrown that INT with the game on the line they at least get to overtime with a chance to win but instead he gave the Jets perfect field position to win the game. It's just so fucked up. The guy's got talent, he's got skill, he's good but he just blows up at the most critical times. So infuriating. Like why can't he fumble the ball in the third quater at mid field or throw that INT in the second quater when the game isn't on the line? Because it's not his style. His style is to fuck it up when the team can afford it the least. Honestly when he fumbled on the Jets goal line I just said to myself quietly "Typical"
Ona side note Tom Brady is a freaking GOD!
You know I really want to like Romo but he just makes mistakes at the wrong times. I still remember that one time in a playoff game where he botched the snap on the potential game winning field goal. He's great for fantasy but for real life purposes he's frustrating as hell to watch. He has all the skills too to be great.
The Chiefs stink and will probably be in last place in the AFC West. Seattle and Indy look like they are leaders in the Suck for Luck campaign.
I think the Bears still lack a good offensive line and WR although I could be wrong about that.
Regarding Sparano, weren't the Dolphins very interested in Harbaugh this offseason.
The guy who has Manning and Cassel this year is screwed. Manning won't play and Cassel pretty much stinks. I'd be combing the WW for QB's.

Watched a whole bunch of stuff lately:
Flame and Citron (2008) WWII Danish Resistance Flick. Very good and engrossing. There are enough moments of violence mixed in with some good character development that kept me interested throughout the film. Mads Mikkelsen from Casino Royale (the bad guy) stars in this.
Fear and Trembling (2003) Slightly similar film to Lost in Translation except this one deals with primarily the Japanese and how they view women and foreigners in general. Some parts of this film are uncomfortable to watch only because I could not understand why the Japanese characters would act so mean to the main character. There were some funny parts near the end though.
Body Double (1984) Just an average DePalma film. Nowhere near as bad as the Black Dahlia or Snake Eyes. This one is just kinda average. There is some nice camera stuff but the acting and plot were below average.
Visitor Q (2001) Ah yes, the controversial Miike film. I enjoyed this one more than I should have. He really does a great job of framing the main storyline in the film. Miike throws the kitchen sink here as no taboo is left untouched. He made this film and Ichi the Killer in the same year. I prefer this one to Ichi because this one is shorter and just kinda gets to the point. I think he mixes in the comedy bits well in this film too. If you ever want to see how a family can disintergrate in the 21st century because of reality tv and technology in general, then you should watch this film. I really loved the end song of the film.
Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006) This was ok. I would have loved it if they tossed out the damn ending because it doesn't really make that much sense and it sort of ruined the film for me.

I'm a big fan of Angie Harmon but if this show doesn't change course near the end of the season or the start of season 3, I'm gonna quit watching it.
It needs to revamp itself and be more like Law & Order: Criminal Intent was in its first few seasons.
I don't think that's going to happen. It just got renewed for a 3rd season and I don't think they are probably going to be deviating from the format of the first two years. It's too bad really because I think they could get out of the standard cop drama that they've set up for the show.
Oh well, I can always watch the TNT reruns of Law and Order from the seasons which Harmon was on. It's too bad she got pregnant otherwise she could have stayed on for a few more years and spared me the agony of watching Elisabeth Rohm act.

I picked the within the country option. Transatlantic and transpacific flights are pricey nowdays. And that's not even calculating lodging and transportation flights. Only way I would considering forking that over would be if they were doing a one and done appearance somewhere.

I don't think so misterID but certainly they'll take Andrew Luck if they get the chance. A lot of fans have been talking about how the Bills of the last ten years have averaged about 6-10 without ever dipping bad enough to get a top 5 pick - until last year, and Dareus looks like the best draft pick the Bills have made in the first round in a decade. Some people would prefer to see the team get 1-4 wins rather than 6-8, especially with all of the first round whiffs the organization's had the past decade (Maybin, McKelvin's been disappointing,Whitner, Losman). Gailey's offense is a bit too cute, so with the shortened offseason it looks really bad. Pretty clear the offense hasn't found its timing yePr
The past ten years or so the Bills have basically been in NFL puragatory. They're not awful enough (last year aside) to draft in the top 3 or so to grab a real difference maker yet they aren't good enough to field a team that is contending year in and year out. They're just kinda of in the middle of the pack every year it seems.
QB Class looks a lot better this year with Landry Jones, Luck, and Matt Barkley of USC. If the Bills get a top 5 draft pick there is a very good chance that one of the three QB's will be available when they pick. Of course it seems like they've been needing an OT for the last few years now.
I think the Bengals are ahead of the field in the Andrew Luck derby. The 49ers and Seahawks are also in there as well. Washington has already been mentioned. Miami looks like an 8-8 team or so. I could also see the Raiders or Panthers making a run at the top pick.
In terms of bad recent 1st round Bills picks, I'd say Aaron Maybin takes the cake here. He didn't last 3 years there and produced 0 sacks. That's Vernon Gholston territory.
