giving III a good listen (5 or 6 times over 
) it is a really solid album...but i still think that its lacking in the guitar department....Pepper was so much more kick ass on the first 2...lots of repeated riffs and chord progressions on this one
but like i said a definately solid album and i enjoy listening to it...i'd just recommend on of the other 2 disks first if anyone asked me about Down

i'll go back to the whole low self esteem period on this one
ya know the rumor when it said axl wouldn't sing for anyone cuz he didnt beleive in himself or something...wasnt that the period when Yoda was first rumored to be in the picture? If it picked him up then, then maybe he feels it necessary now
