As much I'd like new music, I don't think I'd condone hacking into someone else's email and swiping a whole bunch of personal information and then trying to auction it off to the highest bidder.  It just seems unseemly.  I also have no interest in the pissing war between the two attention whores either.

LMAO at MSL trying to present himself as a "journalist."

About time.  He'll do great in tv.  He can just talk and talk and fill the dead air.  The guy has a rational explanation for absolutely everything.

It's probably smart that he does this now instead of coach out 2011.  Last two seasons are 8-8 and 6-10 and another losing one in 2011 would have taken the luster off his rep as an "elite coach."  He can blame Bud Adams and Vince Young for the last two years.

Anyway, the story is that he wanted to bring on his son as a quality control coach, whatever that is.  Bud Adams has a strict policy of no sons/relatives on the coaching staff.  That is what stopped them from hiring Gregg Williams after 2008.  Couple that with the coaching defections of the past days, and he choose to leave.

They're talking about going back and doing a 70's-era album. If they stay true to that, it could be pretty cool.

I think they've squeezed all of the melodic-rock ballads out of their brains that they can. 16

God I hope so.  I've been waiting for them to just go back to a rock album with dirty sleazy riffs instead of whatever they've been doing for the last ten years.  I should go and download the Permanent Vacations outakes as those are reportedly sound like "old Aerosmith."

For those who can't get the 4shared link to work when pressing the play button, just download the track.  It played fine for me after I dowloaded it.

I think D is correct in that someone leaked this.  I can't see Axl or his inner circle doing this only because there were some personal papers/corrospondence there.  Of course this is assuming that MSL isn't bullshitting and that stuff exists.

I can't say I feel too sorry for Axl since CD was released in November 2008 and he's had far enough time to get his shit in order regarding a CD II (or whatever you want to call the follow up to Chinese Democracy) release.  It's sad that this is the only way that fans can get new music.

I really how to question how much power the manager has in this situation since everything has to be filtered through the Malibu Mafia anyway.  That and they tour when Axl feels like it.

It's pretty close to absurd where you have to go through a lot of channels just to speak to Axl.

I think Ron is pretty close to leaving at this point after reading that interview.  It's the same old story.  At some point dealing with the GNR business outweighs the advantage of working with Axl, particularly when there is no new material being released.

Another disappointing end to a Patriots season for me.  Maybe next year they can lose a playoff game on the road so I don't have to witness it in person.  It's ridiculous that Tom Brady hasn't lost a REGULAR season home game in the last 28 games, yet the Pats have been completely dominated in their last 2 home playoff games.

The playoffs are a different animal, plain and simple.

As for the remaining teams.  I want the Steelers to beat the Jets.  I don't think I could take 2 weeks of listening to the Jets players and coaches leading up to the Super Bowl.  That would be unbearable.  The Packers look quite good, but I think the Bears can give them a run for their money.  However if the Bears meet the Steelers, I don't think it'll be much of a game.  Packers/Steelers would be much more entertaining.

I think they're still in good position going into next year though.  They have 3 picks in the top 33.  #17 from OAK, #28 (their own) and #33 from CAR.  They should be able to get a pass rusher with #17 and an OL help with #28 or a WR with those picks.  Looks like a good year for DE/OLB prospects.  Not so much for wideouts with speed anyway.

Like CC I'll be rooting for the Packers.  Can't stand either of the AFC Championship teams.  But if forced I'll root for the Jets.  Only because they can pull out a couple more WWE style promos before the Super Bowl.

Anyway, the Titans are interested in hiring Mangini for their vacant Defensive Coordinator spot.  It would be a good hire since he has a functioning brain and can make in game adjustments.

why didnt whe get it fixed sooner?

I can actually answer this one since I had sinus problems all my life and I had sinus surgery a few years ago.

Sinus problems are generally annoying but not debilitating.  I mean they won't stop you from doing things.  They are a general pain in the ass.  Usually to stop the pain, you just take sudafed.

I think he just wasn't able to tolerate the pain anymore or it just intensified to the point where he had to have surgery.  The bad thing about sinus surgery is that it doesn't always correct the problem as my sinuses have stayed the same or gotten worse after the surgery.

I just saw this movie and the scene in question is intense even if you don't really see anything explicit.

Anyway, this isn't really a ballet film.  Ballet just happens to be the setting.  It's more a psycholgical thriller.  Winona Ryder almost steals the show with her scenes.  Great film and better than that mess from Aronofsky known as The Fountain.

#1320 Re: The Garden » 2010 Fantasy Football » 803 weeks ago

I ended up losing because of Ray Rice and his 34 fantasy points or whatever it was that and TO got a big 0.  My flex option only had 1 point too.

I have to play the 3rd place game this week which stinks because I was dominating my league.  I had racked up like close to 12 wins which was 5 more than the 2nd place guy.
