Actually that's exactly what it does. Society gets to choose what is acceptable otherwise there would be no laws. For example killing someone could be completely comfortable for someone. Does that mean they can do it when they want to?
Or in a more relevant comparison a perv can go into a woman's bathroom and claim to identify as a woman and that's okay as long as they don't assault someone? It's fine to make the women uncomfortable in that case to protect the small amount of transgender people? It's not ok to make a transgender person uncomfortable by giving them a separate bathroom to use but it's okay to make everyone else uncomfortable so they aren't?

Here's what I struggle with: why is it okay to put one group into a situation where they are uncomfortable to take another group out of a situation where they are uncomfortable? Why do we automatically (and unfairly) label people as bigots and/or racists if they have a different opinion than you do?

Trump's argument that "this loon wouldn't be here if his parents hadn't immigrated here and gave birth to him here, therefore ban immigration to stop more like him being born" is ridiculous. Basically a flagrant admission that your society sucks at integrating with other cultures and the best solution to the problem is avoid dealing with it. Fucking joke.
Yes, agreed. I think the issue is more that people for some reason have a hard time integrating with our society. I would think this is the place to be and I would do anything I had to in order to fit in. Clearly not everyone feels that way. I'd rather they just leave though instead of trying to attack us for what we are or what we represent.
It's equally loony to think that banning assault rifles would have prevented even 1 death. Bad guys always manage to get guns regardless of what the laws are...that is a fact. It's also crazy that today both Obama and Hillary were going on and on about how calling it Islamic extremists accomplishes nothing. That's not really true. It wouldn't prevent the attack, that part is true. But what it would do is point out the there is a difference between Muslims and these people. Sometimes being inclusive is a bad thing. We put so much emphasis on not offending someone that we hurt the greater cause.
The other thing I heard was that Trump was wrong to respond the way he did because you have to respond to stuff like this with grace. Ummm...what has that done for us so far? Look, Trump says a lot of things I don't agree with completely, but it's kind of nice to see an actual response instead of some politically correct mumbo jumbo. Fuck that shit...tell us how you really feel. It's okay to have emotion.

I'm starting to think you don't even read how one sided everything you post is, and it started long before trump, but you keep living in your dream world.
It really is as simple as I make it. I don't have to pretend to be smarter than anyone. Your words take care of that for me. See, I never claim to know it all, but I can tell right from wrong and one sided from objectivity. You are far, far from objective.

If you want to pretend Obama didn't waste millions of dollars going after conservative organizations, go fuck yourselves. The ignorance is more than disturbing. She never sent anything classified, but it was labeled classified only afterwards. What exactly did she email that was potentially worse than this mass shooting?
Hard to answer since none of us (including you) know exactly what she did. Regardless of whether it was classified at the time, she should know there's potentially classified information there. But this isn't about that; this is about a guy that was going to kill a lot of people regardless of whether he could buy a gun legally or not.

One was interviewed over wanting to commit jihad, the other over an email.
Not over an email. Nice try. A case could be made that more people are in danger because of her than the 100 or so involved in this incident. For the record, I'm all for limiting legal access of guns to people like that; I'm also realistic enough to know that he would have gotten a gun no matter what and nothing would have been different.

There really weren't any issues in Vegas. They were a little late night 1, but I don't think that was their fault. People were late getting into the stadium maybe due to the weather.

He was interviewed by the FBI three times. At the very least, he should not be able to buy a gun.

I'm not ever going to support violence against the ones who choose to support him, but let's call a spade a spade.
The man's biggest selling point is building a giant wall to keep Mexicans out.

That's not racism. That's called not wanting illegal aliens here. Most of them come from Mexico. That is sadly a fact.
Racist would be let all the blacks kill each other because they all suck anyway.
It's okay to have different opinions than other people. Some would even encourage that. Calling someone a racist and bigot because you don't agree with them is cowardly. Trump is neither. He's opinionated. They are strong opinions that not everyone agrees with.
