Rose/Hollywood Rose was responsible for all of those songs.

It's actually known that Paul did help write many of those early songs, also check your UYI liner notes for who wrote Back Off Bitch wink

Izzy on Drums...?

Paul Huge was there at that this early stage, it says something about his intriquing involvement through the years...

Izzy played drums in a band called 'The Atoms' also
just like Steven Adler playing guitar, they realized it wasn't going anywhere so they made a change, kind of funny they pretty much changed possitions and without knowing would lead to them coming together in GNR.

Also, Paul Huge, Izzy, and Axl were childhood friends wink
very possible for them to form an early band while they were all in Indiana

These demos would have been recorded with Axl using his choir voice, it wasn't until Axl was in Hollywood with Izzy that he changed his voice to what we know now. I won't tell the story due to it being in the Reckless Road book and don't want to spoil it for those who plan on reading it.

This is def cool to hear, although it does seem impossible to some, it's actually quite the opposite and it very possible, however unlikely it may be.

Not sure how legit this really is, but I got this from a cd I downloaded called "Guitar Hero III Legends Of Rock Companion Pack". The cd also includes actual songs that will be on GH3 (Including the cover of "Devil Went Down to Georgia" in which the fiddle parts are replaced by guitar and the song is really heavy), thus making me think that it is real. Either way enjoy it and by next week we shall now if this is the real intro or not smile

'Rain' is def my fav song on the album 5

I think not to long ago there was a large fan request for Duff to release the album, and in fact many (including myself) think that eventhough the album was written years ago would still be a great "new" album to release today and that it would do very well if it was ever released. Too bad it will more than likely never be released...Oh well, the album easily found on the net for fans to listen to smile

I got the book, but haven't had a lot of time to read any of it yet other than just a quick skim
I must say though it looks amazing and I can't wait to read it.

One part I did read though was on the recording of Rocket Queen

"After the whole ordeal, Axl took me upstairs to his hotel room where we were staying and he played me November Rain for the first time on a piano. He told me that it was something that he wrote when he was fifteen. And it was the most beatiful thing I had ever heard. It was awsome."
- Adriana Durgan [The Rocket Queen]

I thought that was pretty cool that he was so obsessed with the song even back then, also refering to another part I saw somewhere in the book about how he snuck into an auditorium to play some chick the song as well tongue
