Single payer is not the answer. I've yet to hear of a country anywhere near our size with socialized health care that likes it.

Raising taxes doesn't help the middle class. Good jobs help the middle class. Higher paying good jobs. Every other solution does not help the middle class.

He lost me at single payer. There's zero chance the gov't won't fuck up health care. Zero. I don't care who is in office. Insurance companies aren't the issue. They just get blamed because that's the easy way to do it. Until costs get controlled there's nothing anybody can do to fix health care.
We should also move to performance based pay for physicians instead of volume based pay. Why do we have to pay for them to keep trying to fix the same thing over and over instead of paying when they actually fix it? There are so many things wrong with health care beyond insurance companies.

There is no affordable health care until they control costs. Every other solution is going to fail and is a waste of time and money.

Wait until the health care bubble bursts. I'm not even sure it's a bubble...more like a pimple. Until they deal with the cost issues of health care, nothing else is going to even scratch the surface of making health care affordable. Insurance companies aren't the issue. They are part of the circle, but not the driving factor.

I'm not doubting what you witness, man, or any real life anecdotal stories, but I've seen people who have done better. The country didn't collapse like it was predicted. That's my point. Wall Mart would not have raised wages in a Bush economy. Many companies have when republicans fought it.
My thing is if these numbers were bad you'd hold them against him.
Would i? I don't really go after anyone. Sure, if someone wants to falsely make claims, I'll shut that down in a hurry, but I don't like any politicians. None of them care about you or me and the sooner the country figures that out, the sooner we can actually take steps towards saving this country.

In a line or less, Buzz/Smoking. Did you guys support the Iraq war? Just curious, not looking to have discussion on it.
Don't really care either way tbh. If they had done things right the firstvtime, there wouldn't have been a second one.
Look what happened with Obama. Runs on getting out, first decision after election is it can't be done. He already knew that, but ran on the public emotion. We're still there for a reason. So as unfortunate as the war has been in terms of lives lost, both sides seem to believe it's necessary regardless of who started it.
