Thanks, seems about the assessment I was going for.  I'm not sure they catapulted back into the big time in the late 80s in the US though. Maybe to the older (30ish) crowd who grew up with them. But in my mind the likes of Motley Crue, Poison, GnR, Bon Jovi, U2 & INXS were dominating.

Funny about the I Want To Break Free video. I don't recall that, either the story or the video itself. I looked it up on Youtube tho, seemed really bad I only made it about 30 seconds. Didn't want it to ruin my view of the song. There's a similar story of Billy Squier. He was big late 70s/early 80s, pre video. So when MJ was dominating the charts they thought lets put him up as some solo artists/crossover pop star. MTV made a big debut of his new video, assuming it would become a hit. It was terrible. People hated it and they barely ever played it or him again. I never heard the story but Yahoo ran an article about it recently. The song was 'Rock Me Tonight'

Saw Chappaquitick, the Ted Kennedy movie. It's ok, I felt it went a little soft on him as far as the extent of drinking & 'drunkness' had on the evening. On the flip side, while it didn't dwell on it or blame it, it had to be a pretty tough time for him, losing his brother JFK then RFK in manners that they died, then, sorta being told 'Ted, the country needs you as President". 

Like, whut?

CSS what is pretty frightening is the amount of $$ the Saudi's are invested into Trump & Kushner. They basically own one of Trumps NY buildings, and I think the Kushners had to take a pretty generous (interest rate) loan from a Saudi bank, for something like 1.5 Billion? A loan he wasn't able to earn in the US.

There was an issue a few months ago about Qatar having alot of US troops, but part of their purpose there was to keep tabs with the Saudis from there, keep them on edge, and yet Trump went all in on buddy buddy with the Saudi's, which is odd.

Lastly, anyone see Melania's interview last week?  She's a Russian spy in my mind. I've been giving her the benefit of the doubt this whole time, but I think she's been a mole to keep an eye on Russia #1 US investement this whole time, and she both influences him on things, and reports back to Russia with these things as well. Her answers were very odd and contrived in a Russian spy type way. (Answers so, so, bad, only Russians would believe they were actually good)

Bizarre dude. I bet they partied together back in the day.
