The SCOM poster is badass!!
Yeah that's a Subway sized poster - gawdy looking colour though but I still managed to find a place to hang it at home. Someone once overseas offered me $700 for it (unframed) - I certainly didn't pay that though. I think it's quite rare, I've seen repro normal sized posters of it but I only recall seeing one other one over the last 10-15 years.
Faldor that is the second or third time they have tried to auction that chair over the last few months. Postage to Australia is a mere $1,223 - cheap

So, you're saying you like Guns N' Roses?
Haha yeah just a little bit.
Although strangely enough the collecting side feels totally removed from the "fan side" now. I could be collecting beer bottles or stamps, it feels almost that separate. It's as much about tracking down that rare item you have wanted for ages, or scoring something for a bargain price etc.
My following of the band itself is almost completely independent now of the collecting obsession.

^ Yeah it's pretty funny. Released of course in Italy.

There is a TV show here in Oz called The Collectors - it basically features the different things that people collect. Well I contacted them a while back on email to see if they might be interested in doing a section on my GNR collection. They got back to me saying they wanted to find out more about it including photos etc. Since I have still been a slack ass and not built my website to house it yet, I finally got around to taking some group photos of things to send to them. It's not everything (lots of double ups or things that look the same but were pressed in different countires, I didn't bother photographing), plus the shit is littered all over the house so I forget stuff is there too. But anyhow thought I would share some of the pics:

Never watched any of his reality stuff but I like quite a few of the old Poison songs. They're just good straight up superficial fun to listen too.
Hope the guy pulls through ok!

Yeah I kinda didn't like that gratuitous plug!
I thought this vid with Ashba was funny though:
WTF was that shirt BTW was someone next to them playing with an AMP?

Interesting!!!
If he does have a new album ready to go he needs to look to drop it ASAP. I don't think it adds anything to continue to tinker with stuff by getting Ashba, Ron et al to redo Buckethead or Finck stuff, or adding a new fill in here and another guitar melody over the top of 15 others over there etc. Just let the stuff go now.
If he wants the current lineup on music my pesonal opinion is to keep working on completely new stuff with them. But releasing the rest of the BH/Finck era material without having the new guys on is not going to be any more detrimental to it, I think it's the best strategy.
As has been said often before, it's just a crying shame the trigger was never pulled on releasing all this stuff back in 2001. Unfortunately the passage of time and continual tinkering with it has probably diminished the material rather than added to it.
Getting all this stuff finally out there is probably a good thing for him too, Hopefully it may help him to close that section of his professional life and enable him to move forward with a clean slate with the new guys if that's what he wants to do.

^ I met Sebastian and I have to say, at least in the context of him meeting a fan, he was very far from an asshole and in fact seemed to be a very funny and all around cool guy.
Monkeychow, when you met him was he just as excitable, hypo and enthusiastic in person? Did he used the word "mindblowing" in his conversation with you?
lol - I just imagine that the guy would be exactly the same in person as his onstage/interview persona. Not saying it's a bad thing, I just think it's funny, he wears his heart on his sleeve. I imagine what you see is what you get.

I definitely think Street Child is one of his highlights. The solo just drips with emotion!!! Love that song!!!!

Good to see he acknowledged the stuff up and inconvenience.
I still laugh at how much he uses "n" instead of "and".
I know it's not Guns and Roses but Guns N' Roses - lol
