The fake crying seems annoying, tho a friend wrote on FB the 'vocal fry' was killing her. I never knew the term, but I agree her tone of voice came off a bit 'girlie', which was likely planned/practiced.

OTOH the calander part is lame. "I couldn't have assaulted her or goto a party because my calander shows I had chores to do, and went on vacation for 2 weeks."  WTF??

I dunno, I think the whole things been mishandled on both sides. I think I heard she first got in touch with the Senator July 6th?  then followed up the 10th?  Senator Feinstein should've approached Trump & Republicans with the info & suggested they just pull his name. To me, his yearbook alone should've raised some red flags, the whole '100 kegs club'?? How did that not come up in vetting?!  Anyway they could've pulled his name then and said concerns came up about his underage years and pointed to the yearbook quotes. Didn't need to make all this so public, yet I'm not sure Dems are completely innocent here either, did they hold out to stretch this closer to election time?

Just a few things,

1. I am a bit concerned of a guy like this, being "pro-life" having the potential to sit on the Supreme Court. Does anyone honestly believe if he & that girl hooked up, had she become pregnant, that they would have carried the baby to term. Secondly, do you think his parents would have advised they carry it to term, and not end the pregnanccy so Biff can go to Yale?!  I mean, c'mon.  Yet now he'll play Mr Hoity Toity to America saying all guys & girls need to suck it up. Get real. Dems sorta missed the mark by not questioning him 'If he was 17'. knowing this was looming.

2. It's time to end 'lifetime appointments' for the Supreme Court. The times & people from 30 years ago are dated, and from another era. More like 10-15 years seems adequate. Time for an ammedment on it.

3. Funny seeing McConeell cry fowl over this. Gee, remember when we had a SC nom who wasn't accused of sexual assault?  Yeah, I do. I call it 2016.

I dunno, I mean, things we did at 15, 17 etc are in the past. But this isn't a typical job being filled. Supreme Court Justices should come without alot of baggage. Maybe its new times we've entered, but we put nominated 3 in the past 10 years without such drama.

I dunno tho, is 'hired outside counsel ' unprecedented at hearings like this. Id be curious if/when it was last done. Sure its 'smart', but its like they're using a woman for gain.

Although, in looking at it my D Arizona got beat 34-0. So goes my draft theory of not worrying much about defense.

Wierd movie. Dirty Harry crossed my mind, a scene looked like one that was used in The Departed. I could see Tarantino being a fan in a way, although i wouldnt say its a must see to QT fans.

Not sure it 'holds up' tho, sorta seemed like a dated movie to me. Worth checking out, odd storyline.
