Good opening weekend. Mahommes looks legit. Saquon Barkley probably will be really good, however the Giants OL was terrible the 1st half. Didn't see any stunners overall, watched a decent amount for opening weekend. Takes me a lil while to get into the swing of it. (Was cold & rainy here, so good binge/couch/TV weather).
Great game with GB & Chicago!

A tale of two halves man. Not sure I've seen an LB/defensive player dominate a game like Mack did in the 1st half (fumbles, sacks, INTs TD the whole nine). Walking into halftime with a shutout & injured Aaron Rodgers it looked like the season was mapping itself out.
3rd Quarter - Enter Aaron Rodgers. A performance for the ages. Probably will go down as his greatest regular season performance. Stuff legends are made of. I remember I think in 94/95 SF & Oakland had a blowout performance of something similar to that. Great game all around, epic. Just wish Notre Dame's Deshaun Kizer had a better showing

I view it more just 'whistleblower', don't really see treason within here.
The use of the curious word 'Lodestar' has Pence running higher in the rankings. It is an odd word few would use. I listened to his denial, seemed to just say 'Whichever ranking official did this....' creating what seemed to be a loophole around him not needing to say it wasn't him.

Ashame, he was great. Career seemed to end after the Boogie Nights comeback, which he was great in, but he was top notch in his day. RIP.

Its gotta be someone high up and well known.
I’m thinking it’s a senior aide in the White House. Cabinet secretaries wouldn’t be left alone in the Oval Office or do things like remove letters from his desk. It could be Kelly, but it’d have to be someone with routine access to the president and his office.
This is a big deal for a lot of reasons. But it shouldn’t be celebrated. Usurping the president is treason. It is unconstitutional. If this article came out under Obama, the left would want the author’s head.
If the author really believed this, they’d come forward. Hiding behind anonymity isn’t courage, it’s the exact opposite.
That was my guess too, an aide to someone senior. The person behind figureheads, carrying the notes but sits in on the meetings hearing it all.
Is the content that surprising to anyone? It’s been plain as day Trump is a loose cannon from day one. This just confirms it.
I know what your saying but do you think the NYT would publish 'anonymously' this piece if it was just some aide? It's gotta be a household name & someone who knew with conviction the NYT would go along with it. Otherwise too much of a risk if they said No & later word gets out about the attempted sabotage.
I don't think it's Conway. Haley's a good guess but I don't think she's in his office enough to have seen so much of this. I think Kushners chances are rising for me, especially after him attending McCains funeral and probably feeling out of place. Although I'd guess this was in the works for some time. Also Kelly & Mattis.

I don’t think it’s anyone at the cabinet level

12 Potential Sources (more like 8 or 9)

^^ I'd probably say Kelly. Pence is an interesting choice, however I'd think he'd risk alot at stake if word got out it was him (a VP undermining the President). Could legally be seen as an attempt to usurp the presidency. Not sure if that's a crime per se, but it'd be a clusterf##k.
Definitely an interesting & insightful read.

Wasnt The Eagles doc 2 parts. Up until 1980 then what happened AFTER 1980? I couldnt stay thru another 90 mi utes but I agree the first part was great.
Twisted Sister has a real good documentary on Netflix (i think its still on there). Good storyline, lots of archive films and camcorder footage, and pretty honest & humble interviews.
