Oh, no.  I know the gov't doesn't give a shit.  They don't care about anything other than retaining power.  Don't even get me started on the gov't.

Perhaps...but if u live in fear then the extremists are winning

For example...assuming all Muslims are terrorists....that's a scary path to go down

I don't think they are, but here's what I do know:

1) we don't know who is and who isn't
2) part of the reason for that is the non-radicals don't speak up
3) so I don't think it's ridiculous to slow things down until we can get some clarity.

I think it's crazier to just look the other wayand hope for the best than it is to make a tough decision to potentially help protect American lives. After all, our government owes us protection before it owes anyone else protection.

To me, this is the issue. We shouldn't be fixing this. The non-radical Muslims should. Anything we say is racist in the twisted pc world that we live in. They need to out the radicals. They need to defend the Islam they claim is not supporting the radicals.

I don't see calling for a pause until we understand what we're really doing as bigotry. I see it as sensible. I don't agree with branding them, but I think knowing what you're doing makes sense.

The overly pc environment is what is giving him the power he has. There are a lot of people that don't disagree with what he's saying.  I'm not sure I'd go as far as he has, but I don't think it's wrong to ask the question. No more burying the head in the sand. The sooner we deal with some of these issues, the better off we will all be.

I'm not even joking. Just acknowledging it's a good career move. Yesterday he was a laughing stock, today he's got people comparing him to Bowie for fucks sake.

I prefer him to Bowie and it's not even close for me. I never got the love for Bowie.

#1718 Re: Guns N' Roses » How much of the board actually believes a reunion will happen? » 546 weeks ago

Unless these festivals cough up huge $$$, I can't see the reunion happening at those venues.

That leads me to believe the strategy is Slash and Duff as an appetizer and the full reunion on their own not too long after that.  The only way that can work is if Axl is Axl and not a Disney mouse.  People won't go back again to see the full reunion if Axl blows.  That would be a pretty big bet for Axl to make on himself.

The game looks like it sucks, but it confirms a partnership beyond just signing off on use of the songs.
